Doc , our fabulous hudson hornet

lizardgirl - Yeah, exactly. He finally couldn’t take the strain anymore and let it

out on Willy’s Butte, which was where he relived his racing days.

Good thing Lightning came along to

help out Doc with his tension…

omg look

what i found ! it’s how they made the real Doc Hudson . I was looking for pictures of doc and i found this .

there’s only one bad word . but it’s so cool

!

gottalovepixar - Wow – cool! Great find! I’ll have to

read that later…

GLP- Nice link- it’s great seeing all of the different stages to constructing Doc.

Kind of makes us realise that underneath the very humanly personalities these cars have, they are cars at the end

of the day.

Holy cow! That was neat! Now

one can meet the real Doc Hudson! How incredible.

Oh boy

one of my fav things to talk about-Doc Hudson! I love him a lot. Yeah he’s so mysterious and wise and he is

kinda like a grandfather. I was just as impressed by Doc’s racing as Lightning! (In fact, the first time I saw

that scene, my reactions were probably the same as lightning’s) He’s just amazing! And yeah he was selfish

calling the press but he obviously regretted it and he totally redeems himself by becoming Lightning’s crew

chief. And I do enjoy the little arguments him and Lightning have!

GLP: Cool link! I like all the

pictures showing the process…

Intresting. I wonder if Doc has grandkids.

I don’t even think he has children . If he was married , he would have never left his

family .

We all know what happened to Doc’s racing career. After it ended, what do you all think happened? Did he come

to Radiator Springs right away? Or do you think there is some sort of story before the trip to Radiator

Springs?

I think he went to college first . But maybe he changed his name a bit , so nobody would know

who he was . After that ( and that was probably 12 years , come on a judge and a doctor , that’s alot

ofschooling ) , he probably got to Radiator Springs after the inteerstate was built . I think this because he

wasn’t in the “Our Town” story .

Whoever said he’d describe Doc as

conflicted,I agree. :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t you think Doc was a little

affected after he was forced to retire?

Heh , sorry to post on a topic thats almost

in the archives , but i never noticed u asked that question TSS .

I’m guessing he was . Cars ( at least

in our world ) are still a bit young after four years . He proably felt unwanted and underapreciated .

poor doc ! i gues that’s why he’s my favorite car and all . i always go for the characters that have

the most problems in their life ( marlin for example )

Gill and Doc are my favorite characters!!!
