Doc , our fabulous hudson hornet

Doc’s

just hard to describe . He’s just plain awsome ! What do you think about him ? Is cool ? Is he a bad car ( you

never know , he did call the poparazzi on lightning ) ? Is he the best racecar ever ? You tell me !

The word “conflicted” comes to mind.

I’d describe him as mysterious! ooohhh!

There is something about Doc that alerts me to my senses. It is rather hard to

explain, but, to me, Doc is almost like a grandfather to me – someone that I have known all my life, yet had

never met. I had the same feeling when I first saw Yoda on screen, as well. It is a perplexed

feeling…

But yes, Doc has to be one of my favorite character from Pixar’s

Cars. He is, as CarFreak described, such a mysterious

character…

I love Doc because

he is so old and wise. But I really love his color.

I like how he always criticizes lightnings racing . He

McQueen’s very own Simon Cowell . lol . like in the video game ( which doesn’t really count as the movie but

still ) he says

[spoil] " If you raced as wel as you run your mouth you’d already have

that Piston Cup !"[/spoil]

Doc rocks my sox !

I also like him because he trys to make Lighting understand life’s lessons instead of winning all of the

time.

It’s funny how Doc and

Lightning argue in the begining alot . They still argue in the end too !

off topic ( :stuck_out_tongue:

)

did you beat the game already?

off topic : no , my sister made a mess of the game controlers and stuff ( right after i cleaned it ) and

then my mom got mad so now we can’t use it .

on topic : i wonder why doc’s mean alot . He needs to be

mellow . Any body have any ideas why ?

Well, after he was forced to retire, I am sure you would be very grumpy.

Doc really, really

reminds me of Gill. They’re both mysterious, and have had their share of bad experiences.

But Doc just wants to teach Lighting

about life. Lightning was just a little arrogant. Which is why Doc was a little harsh on him.

But still , he didn’t have to

go and call the poparazzi ! Ok , maybe he did , since then the story would go on , but you know what i mean ! It

was kind of sad , and it made him look like the bad guy .

The thing

was, Doc was just a little selfish. The only bad guy in this movie is Chick. Doc just wanted Lightning to

leave.

Yeah , and then he comes back . I guess that plan

didn’t work .

Oh , and remember , he was forced to retire . They didn’t want him anymore . how

sad !

However, he was a little

arrogant, wasn’t he? At least, he didn’t want to face his fears and return to the life he had, nor did he wish

to admit to his fellow acquiantances who he really was.

As Lightning said:

"Oh, like you? You’ve been here how long and your friends don’t even know who you

are? Who’s caring about only himself?"

That sure got Doc’s attention. However, I

still love the guy anyway.

Do you guys think Doc is a patient vehicle?

No , that

doesn’t sound like him . Maybe if you were lucky he’ll wait , but most of time he’d probably rush you . He is

a former racecar after all .

I think with age, he sort of grew more and more bitter,

really. As for being patient…Well, perhaps to a certain extent, but previous to having met Lightning, he would

not have been keen on waiting for anyone else, due to his selfishness. That probably has changed quite a bit

after the events of the movie, though.
