Wow… I go away for a week, and this place explodes! Great to see some old faces, as
well as new!

sure has acquired a lot of members already, old and new.

I went to camp at a place called Hume Lake, in the High Sierra of California (as a
counselor, of course)… If you click on the link in my signature, it takes you to a page that describes the
theme (the Parable of the Talents as found in Matthew 25, told as a cheesy Kung-Fu movie) of the camp and you can
find out all about Hume Lake Christian Camps.
As to explain my signature: For recreation, they divide the
cabins into 28 teams, which are part of two “leagues” - think Major League Baseball. All the teams were
named after “attacks.” My cabin was part of Team Swinging Door of the Shamurai. How one would perform a
“swinging door” is beyond me, but at least I wasn’t part of Team Jazz Hands of Judgment.

I made it! Would’ve dropped in sooner, but I was off at camp until a few hours ago, when I
got home and found an e-mail BG had sent me about Pixar Planet. I love what you guys in charge have done; I knew
this was gonna be great from the moment I saw the picture on the registration page. 
Great seeing all
the old faces, and plenty of new ones. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a rising high school sophomore
and yet another fellow whose obsession with Pixar was sparked by The Incredibles; after I found I-Kronos, I
headed irreversably down the dark spiral of hopeless lostness into the world of Pixar fandom. I was waiting
outside the cinema before the first employee arrived on June 9th, 2006, and have seen Cars four more times since,
with hopefully at least one more viewing before it leaves theaters. I’ll be doing it all over again next summer
with Ratatouille.
Other interests of mine include Monty Python, Douglas Adams, ice hockey, astronomy,
and Nintendo. When I injured myself two years ago, permanently sidelining me from athletics (which I’d never
enjoyed all that much anyways), I discovered our school’s theatre program; this past year, I really started
getting into it, and I hope to major in theatre in college and become an actor. It would be a dream to provide a
voice for a Pixar film someday, but that will most likely not happen, as I’m not planning on ever being in
anything bigger than small local productions of plays (although I certainly wouldn’t say no if opportunity comes
a-knocking!).
