A little person says "i
thought it was (insert movie here) we were going to watch" whilst watching the short.
It really,
really, really, **** me off.
Another annoying thing is, people make a big deal out of the PAS sequence
coming up before the short and before the movie, it’s a nice sequence, shut up already.
Do you guys feels
the same. Obviously you won’t hate it as much as me.
Well, after
several films, people should remember that Pixar always plays a short before their feature presentation. I never
got it until after TS2. Some gets it really soon. Others don’t because it is probably their first time watching
a Pixar movie.

Yeah, I can understand that, but I just hate why people have to say it out aloud, I
mean, keep quiet until your 100% sure something isn’t right.
It’s so annoying, and the PAS sequence
thing is just the worst, it’s not a big deal, and I don’t need someone yelling it to their friend right next to
me about how “this already came on”.

Luxo - Watch the language please.

OK, it had an ! instead of an i.

And that changes it how??? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to read through
that.
luxo

LOL, ****, it changes because I
thought you thought I’d just written it, and not even tried to cover the fact.
Anyway, back on
topic.

With all do respect I think you’re missing the point here.
Point A - This
is a Pixar forum which means it’s about animated films which means we attract the kiddies.
Point B - Said
kiddied like to parrot back the things they read and when they read an obvious replacement word for a curse (esp
one that’s completely unneccessary in the context of the post and somewhat clever or comical) then they are even
more likely to parrot.
Point C - When the parents start hearing this they want to find out where it
originated.
Point D - When parents trace the origins back to here, I don’t much care for getting chewed
out or having kids banned from my site by their parents for something you wrote.

Why did you just censor **** aka calm it.
Let it
go, back on it now.

I’m not an idiot.
You and I both know that word has a double meaning. “Calm it” is only one of them (that makes no sense
to begin with and makes absolutely no sense in the context of your post) but is a very convenient one if you’re
trying to make me look like a fool. I’m asking you nicely to check your language and attitude at the door. If
you can’t do that then just simply leave.
Luxo, Dash is right. Many can take it, but we have young people on Pixarplanet. Just to warn you you can get
suspended or banned.

Wow, you
guys are really really really, urm, unwelcoming.
I’m an asset to this forum, over time you will see this,
I am a true fan of Pixar and have been for a number of years and on day two I get asked to leave. Charming. And
what do you mean, I meant “Calm it” as in, calm down over this. I don’t know what you mean by another
meaning, seriously, PM me or something because I don’t get it.
Anyway, forget this, I don’t wanna fight
with you guys over something that wasn’t even intentional. I respect there are kids here. The end.
OFF TOPIC: Luxo, I’m considered “adult” where I
live, and I don’t really like to hear foul language either (intentional, non-intentional, and someimes even when
it’s just “***”). I’m constantly telling people my own age, younger & older as well,
“Language, please” when they say something particularly foul.
ON TOPIC: I love the PIXAR way of
movies. I get to see a Teaser, a Short Film, AND a movie for the price of one!! That, and the fact the movie’s
always great, is the reason I spend my money to go see a PIXAR film in theatres . . . as opposed to waiting for
it one DVD or HBO (or Starz, or Pay Per View, for that matter!)

It’s not that we’re unwelcoming. And I sincerely regret
that my first series of posts with you had to come off in that manner. However, I will not yield my control over
content on this site and let members consider differences of opinion on how we run things be a point on which
we’ll just have to disagree as I know from past experience how it can quickly spiral out of control. As a board
administrator yourself, surely you of all people can respect that.
If I misinterpreted what you later said
then that is unfortunate but miscommunication is a risk that you run when using slang that is not part of common
speaking english.
With that said though, welcome. I have no doubt you are a fan as you are quite
dedicated and as I’ve said before we welcome all Pixar fans here and strive to carry out a good relationship
with our sister sites. Hopefully we can work to build bridges from this point forward.

Haha, yeah.
On a sidenote, my cinema in
Glasgow is the tallest in the world. Officially.
Haha, the Cineworld on Renfrew Street? I love that cinema, especially how you have a snack counter on every
floor so you’re not dripping nacho sauce all over the esculators.
When I went to Glasgow Uni, Vim and I
had the worst habit of blowing off half of our lectures to watch the latest Disney release there multiple times
instead of catching the tube to the West End.
We went there for the release of Pirates of the
Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, too, in full pirate costume. XD
OMG, my friends and I were all dressed up for POTC2 as well! We had these swords that
made noises when we swished them and we attacked the people sitting in front of us. XD But that was at our crappy
local Cineworld. Seriously, Cineworld has like taken over! And it’s got such a stupid name!
