The good news is, our wonderfully talented Mell has a sweet new treat for you that is all set to go and will make this place more bon-diggitier than it already was!
The bad news is, we have to have a little down time to put it in. As such, the forum will be shut down on Saturday but should be up by Sunday. Don’t worry folks, Mell rocks when it comes to turn around time.
The more good news is, and I hope AJ forgives me for being a bit premature on the dispersing of info, that there should be a new Radio Pixar episode to fill your void while we’re down. You should be seeing it before the down time hits.

Hey guys! Sorry the change-over took a little longer than expected, but hopefully you’ll all think it was worth the wait! Welcome to the new and (if I may so so myself) improved Pixar Planet forums!
You might notice some new features around the site on top of the new designs: the profile pages have a few new fields to them, including a space to add your favourite film, your favourite short and a bio, and we’ve added some cool new usergroup icons!
We were in a bit of a hurry to get the new forums up since we ran over the time we’d told you guys, so I didn’t manage to test them out as much as I would like, so you should really consider these as beta versions for the moment! If anybody has any problems or something is displaying funny, please make a post in the Troubleshooting forum or shoot me off an e-mail and I’ll sort it out.

I see almost everything alright(all I see of date posted is :“Posted: Wed” for example…no date), only one slight issue.
Every post that was made before the make-over appears with line breaks where people didn’t intend them like this:
Maybe it can be connected with the font size. But I do not see it as much of a problem, it will soon be thing of the past.
And Mell_O_Drama, I would appreciate if the Finding Nemo theme contained a bit more of blue. I totally loved the blue-heavy last one. If your intention was to make it a bit less dark blue, I would suggest a lighter blue color, like RGB:134, 185, 247 for example (it would look lovely on the background). It would look so much more distinguishable from the others.
It’s not every post, it’s just some of them. I used Dreamweaver for some of the database work and it formatted white space as line breaks – by the time I’d found out, I’d already put about a third of the database in that way. (D’oh!) I’ve been trying to catch them as I go along, though, I’ll get there in the end!
I wanted to get away from using too many dark colours in the designs. A lot of people were complaining that it made it hard to read, depending on their settings, so every layout now has a grey/neutral scheme which is highlighted with a bright colour so it’s much more accessible for everyone! I thought the turquoise was quite cute but the Ratatouille skin has a blue colour scheme if you like!
