Dream Pixar Job

I would certainly want to become an animator (that’s what I do already), and maybe a director.

I would be willing to do anything at Pixar, I even applied to be an inventory assistant but I think I applied too late. My dream job there would be to be involved in the story in some way but I am working to be a camera and staging artist. That would be pretty amazing.

Dream job? Definently writing/directing. I’ll always be aiming up to present my own story. Otherwise, I’d probably go for storyboard artist, as I have fun doing that.

I would love to be a voice actor. If any auditions come up for Pixar films when I am older I am so there. However I would also like to be a writer, creating a story that will be loved for generations would be an honor.

I’m absolutely awful with computers, so an animator wouldn’t be such a great job for me. I’d really like to be a character designer or a set designer. I’m getting a lot better at drawing and I love art, so I think I’d be really good at that.

Off topic but I think the answer to your TS Google Translate thing K9Girl. It’s:
-Hey I’m Woody, howdy, howdy, howdy.
-Give me that.

My dream job would be a animator at pixar studios, :astonished:

I really want to work at pixar studios, but problem pixar studios is 7 hours away from my house,But i do love driving so i won’t mind the long trip,

salam alykoum , I want visit pixar not work , If i want work i will choose modelling job .

I would love to be an animator!
I’m not so good at creating stories or coming up with my own characters. So being an animator is perfect for me, bringing others characters to life, exagerrating features on the characters faces and moving them to give them personality.

Definetly my dream job, and what I am aiming for.

I’d love to be an animator at PIXAR! How cool is that! Just working at Pixar would be a dreamjob. Like, a cleaner or whatever! xD Just to get inside that buidling!

I forget if I’ve replied to this thread before, but it’s definitely story artist. While I’m a pretty skilled when it comes to drawing (I have an art scholarship and received an almost perfect score of 41/42 on my portfolio review), my grasp of motion is poop. Now, I haven’t done any animation since I was 15, so I haven’t quite given up yet. I bought a quality lightbox and am hoping I can get back into the hang of things by attaching a pegboard to it. There are open draws at my school, so I plan on actually attending those next semester to work on my figure drawings.

That said, I still think that story is more up my alley. I like to put a lot of thought into characters that I make up in my head. It’s even more of an adventure if they’re a different age/gender/etc.

I think I’m convinced that if I were to work at Pixar (or DreamWorks… yes I’d work for either/or, because DW artists are just as amazing as Pixar artists ), I’d definitely want to work in character design. I’ll probably be dabbling in a bit of animation as well if I get into CalArts one of these days, so I’d have at least some knowledge of that aspect of things, but think I’ve decided that character design would be something I’m more naturally skilled at. The other thing I’d really like to do is storyboarding. So either character design or storyboarding would be my dream job at Pixar or wherever else.

Off-topic: queen_of_painting, I LOVE your avvie! <3

little chef

Thank you! And I like that you mentioned character designs, because that interests me as well. It’s fun to fill up a sketchbook with weird characters.

Hoo. Looks like I may have been a bit exhausted when I wrote this.

I’d love to work anywhere in Pixar where you are involved in the creative side of things. So I’d love to do animating, directing, writing, character design and storyboarding.

I won’t lie. While I would prefer to animate or direct, I’d sweep the floors there if it meant they’d hire me.

^ Same here.

Aw yeah!! Hi-five!

Welp, since I last posted here, I’ve pretty much crossed storyboard artist off my list, and my main focus now is animator. I just have to start working towards it now  I honestly wouldn’t mind working anywhere besides Pixar, but of course that’s my primary goal.
