yeah, it’s true, in some of the international markets the film has been huge, but what I’ve also heard and read is that Studios much more care about domestic performance of their films, but do not misunderstand me, I am not saying KFP2 is a flop, it only missed expectations, the ones that will probably bring us to one more sequel, but 6 in total, I don’t think so!!!
Yeah, it’s another Nick collaboration: Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.
Anyways, bryanbmp, that makes a lot of sense sadly, but I hope you’re wrong. I never thought I’d say this about DW anything, but I wanna see all six! %D;
In regards to KFP2 doing badly, give other countries a chance; I’m sure the revenue will be huge. It only came out last week in the UK, and with the amount of promotion it’s been getting, I have no doubt it’ll do well. Same will probably apply to other places. Surely the worldwide gross is better than just the US gross?
And DW have done so excellent films, How To Train Your Dragon in particular, so I really don’t get why people are jumping on the back of them so soon. You could be pleasantly suprised.
Yes, How to train Your Dragon was good, but I almost didn’t see it at all because of the travesties that were Madagascar and Shark Tale. I hope that Turbo is amazing, and as of now I plan to see it, and I am definitely going to see Rise of the Guardians…that’s the best movie idea they’ve had in like, ever. I just hope people don’t get it confused with “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole.”
Why not? Yes, it had a nice plot. es, the characters are awesome. Yes, there is nicely animated action in the movie. But Hangover 2 had much more to offer. It’s tough competition. Sometimes, one film is more attracted to the majority of the public than the other film.
Really? It’s a legit reason, it happens time after time. It’s common for a movie to be overshadowed by another more popular movie.
That’s why Monsters University (I think that’s the movie) changed release dates, it was scheudled to permier the same day as the last Twilight movie. That’s a Box Office Suicide move to permier the same day on a movie that popular.
