I just finished watching this on Star Movies, and I must say, despite the somewhat corny acting the negative reviews managed to point out, the movie has a decent religious message behind it for Catholics/Christians and, to some extent, non-believers, too.
It might be just me, but I’ve always dig apocalyptic fiction such as this, whether it’s pre, mid, or post(-apocalyptic). The idea itself is so relative to our corrupted, crumbling world (especially with all the global warming, terrorism, natural disasters and other catastrophic events that are going on) that it has so much potential for a good story.
Another aspect appealing to me is the eye-candy. God (no puns intended), the true form of Lucifer is just wicked. Sure, it might go against some beliefs and the such, but you have to admit, that would make a kick-butt monster to defeat in a video game, huh? ![]()
Basically, I might have a poor taste by supporting this movie, but as I said, it’s just me. 6.5/10 (still need work on the cheesy lines)
Oh, I forgot. Post your views about this movie. ![]()
