Or have simply been in the same room as someone famous? ^^
I met actor Steve
Coogan on the set of ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ in France. Didn’t get to talk much, but I can say that
he’s an all-around good guy, as I hoped he’d be. I do have a huge crush on him and it was so unreal to be
standing there talking with him.
Another time, I went on a class trip to 'Inside the Actor’s
Studio’ with Nathan Lane. Didn’t get to chat with him or anything, but I was in the same room with him.
And actor/director/genius Terry Jones (the man on my avatar) will be visiting the theatre next week, and
I’m going completely spaztic over this because I’m a huge fan of Monty Python and to be honest, the man is my
idol. <3
So … share share share!
I think this thread has already been
started by Mitch, called ‘The Famous and the Infamous.’
I’ve met Ozzy Osbourne, his late guitarist Randy Rhodes, Ted Nugent, James Hetfield of
Metallica, Jessie James DuPree of Jackyl(talk about a crazy redneck!), the late Cajun humorist Justin Wilson,
Zydeco artist Geno Delafosse, Blues singer Drink Small, and I taught Country singer Josh Turner from first grade
all the way through high school.
I’ve seen in person all the people that Dash mentioned seeing at the
Cars premier, since I was there, too. I can’t even count how many artists I’ve
seen perform live in concert, though, since it just goes back too far.
I’ve had phone conversations or
internet chat conversations with Slash(former guitarist of Guns 'N Roses, now with Velvet Revolver)and Kerry
King of Slayer, regarding snakes and dogs, mostly, since both of these guys are well-respected in the
herpetoculture community, and Kerry King is well-known for having developed several genetic strains of Boa
Constrictors.
