I don’t really like Entertainment Weekly. That site grinded my gears when they gave Twilight a “B” and when they referred to Pascal as a frog, as opposed to a chameleon.
I guess I cant say i’m surprised Incredibles topped it. Its interesting that Up, WALL-E, Nemo, and 2 of the Toy Storys were so close. I’m little surprised Ratatouille was at the bottom
I’m assuming many people said Toy Story because it was the original and revolutionized cinema, and many others said Toy Story 3 because it was the most recent and is still fresh in many people’s memories, so Toy Story 2 kind of gets lost in the shuffle.
I can’t really say I have a least favorite Toy Story film. They’re all good and unique in their own way. But as goes the list, it’s kind of what I expected. I’m not surprised that the Cars films and A Bug’s life were at the bottom.
In this case I’m not surprised. TS didn’t win, because the fans would be torn between which TS film is their favorite. Wall-E, Ratatouille and ABL are kind of ignored by the masses, and more loved by fans and film gurus. Cars is nearly universally hated. Up is just kind of a love it or hate it film. The Incredibles has its nay-sayers, but for the most part, action-lovers, superhero fans, and just the adult population in general can relate to such a story. And honestly some people may see some of the other films as childish.
