OMG, I looooove this show so much! And i was
wondering who else was a fan of it? I love Stewie the best, probably cuz of that accent and the fact that he’s a
baby but hardly ever acts like one. (which makes it so cool when he does). Then i like Peter, then Brian, the
dog. “Giggity!”
Family Guy is one of the best cartoons on TV today. It’s like The Simpsons and The
Critic mixed together with utter nonsense (Anyone remember The Critic by the way? Fabulous show. Didn’t last
long enough though).
But back to Family Guy…I love the entire cast, but my favorite characters are
Stewie, Brian, Quagmire, and Mort. I love Stewie because he’s a baby genius set out for world domination who’s
just as screwy as the rest of the family, Brian because he’s an intellectual talking dog, Quagmire because he’s
a perve, and Mort because he’s so darn pathetic. Who doesn’t love that?

I would have to say my favs, even though I don’t watch it
that often , are Stewie and Brien .
I used to like Family Guy, but I rarely watch it anymore.

Same here. I like to watch reruns from the
first three seasons (Brian’s my favourite character). The new season on FOX is terrible.
My favorite characters are Peter, Meg, and Lois.

Yeah I really like what
I’ve seen of this show, they showed it on BBC1 Saturday nights over here for a while, but it soon died out, and
I don’t have FX to watch it. It was really funny though and will surely take over The Simpsons once that
ends.

I
love the whole show, stewie is my fave by far cause he is just so darn cool! But the whole hilarious settings and
really odd things that happen make it a really unpredictable and funny show.
little fact:
Some of the
funny lines they say are actually made by letting dolphins/sealions/monkey’s or some other animal loose in a
place with different balls, all with a word on it.
In a little special I saw on tv lately they showed a
example with the words:
Bush, Apple, Tractor, Pink toiletpaper and keyhole.
They threw the balls in the
cage of a sealion and waited till he touched one of the balls first then the second and the third, etc. etc. they
made a line out of it
'Oh my god Peter, that is just as bad as when Bush got driven over by a tractor in the
pink toiletpaper factory while he was looking trough the keyhole of the womans bathroom while eating a apple!’
was the line that came out of it.
Totally random, totally awesome.
'quick to the
petercopter!’

What an unorthodox way to write comedy.
I love Family Guy. Brian is my fave.

Eh…Never really liked Family
Guy myself. The animation is pretty poor and the whole concept just reminds me way too much of The Simpsons.

Wow, the animation isn’t that poor I’d say, it takes a long time to
animate in quality like Pixar, and Fox wants it quick or they will get annoyed, so it has to be done quickly.
Although it does sort of remind people of The Simpsons, the fact is, it’s often funnier and has better parodies
more often.
I dunno, to me… I think
the Animation on family guy had better timing then The simpsons… thats just me though. The simpsons and Family
guy are two very diffrent writers, Seth has an unmatchable humor. I think anyone who met the guy, or have seen
the daily’s they do… sometimes they have them on the familyguy site, So go check it out…
My two favourite gags:
Peter is preparing to tape
football, when a bunch of SWAT members burst in.
"Do you have the express written consent of ABC and the
NFL?"
“Just ABC…”
And they shoot his video.
This is funny because anybody Peter
actually had express written consent from one of the organisations. Anybody else would have had him just jump out
of the way without saying a word.
The next one: “Quick! To the Hinden-Peter!”
A giant airship
with his face takes off, before crashing in Joe’s garden.
Joe: OH MY GOD!
Peter: Oh, I’m so
sorry!
Joe: OH MY GOD!
Peter: I said I’m sorry!
Joe: HOW CAN YOU AFFORD THIS?!
Classic times
from a classic show.
LOL! Yes! I loved that scene! good times
Yeah, bear in mind
that the Simpsons and Family Guy, etc, produce 1/3 of screen time of a feature film and sometimes those half-hour
shows are turned around in two, three months, whereas Disney would take two years - that’s why a lot of the 80s
cartoons are so poorly animated - they had to be churned out quickly.
