Ok, here we go. This is my WALL•E fanart…
Piece #1: The main WALL•E cast
For WALL•E, I decided to dress him in a garbage collector’s suit and have him carry a Walkman for his music. I also gave him highlights because although I prefer brown hair for him, I also think that blond or black would be great colors, so why not?
For EVE, I wanted her look to reflect the fact that her head and arms are detached from the body, so I gave her a tube dress and gloves.
For M-O, I just dressed him up as a janitor and gave him a Swiffer Wet-Jet.
For AUTO—I’ve decided to draw him as a futuristic pirate with hair covering one of his eyes. (although at one time, I drew him as Darth Vader with the steering wheel in the center!)
For GO-4, I’ve seen a few interpretations of this patrol-bot, but most of the time, he was a shorty police boy with bright red hair. Instead, I decided to draw him as one of those Imperial officers from Star Wars (notably Grand Moff Tarkin), and give him a red hat that is actually a siren.
Piece #2: Reject Force 7
Ah, the reject-bots. They are actually quite fun to draw as humans!
My interpretation of VAQ-M seems pretty original— I haven’t really seen any with blue hair as of yet.
PR-T: I wanted to create her a hairdo that looked absolutely ridiculous, so I gave her a curly-bun/retro-flip combo. Her dress was inspired by the retro-futuristic fashions depicted in The Jetsons.
For VN-GO—I’ve seen him drawn with paint stains most of the time, so I decided to do something different: tie-dye bursts! Also, I gave him a beret, scarf, and a paint palette.
For HAN-S—well, I’ve seen him with gray hair, purple hair, and blond hair. However, I decided to go with a purple/blue highlight combo for a splash of color. Also, the holo-restraint does add a humorous touch.
About D-FIB, I’ve seen drawings of her as a nurse or a medic with shock paddles strapped to her arms, and one with an actual defibrillator pack. I decided on giving her a defibrillator to carry around, because I think wiring shock paddles to her makes her seem more cyborg-ish.
L-T was definitely one of my favorites to draw. I’ve seen drawings of this bot with a headlamp, but I decided to go with the idea of her carrying a flashlight.
I wanted to make BRL-A the tallest of the seven. He is actually supposed to be carrying an umbrella, but I didn’t have room for it. Of the interpretations I’ve seen, I have yet to see one with an umbrella hat.
By the way, the name “Reject Force Seven” was inspired by the “Loser Force Five” sketch from Sonny With a Chance. Also, I forgot to draw the red devices attached to them, but that’s ok. I’ll probably add them in my later drawings.
