Fandoms

Heehee, I wonder what people would think if I walked around my college campus with American Girls. I’ll definitely get some for my children.

Haha, I never really take mine out into public, except when my grandma was staying in a nursing home, and I brought my doll there. A lot of adult collectors take them into the public to take pictures, but I’m too scared to.

I’m usually one who doesn’t care what others think. But I don’t think I’d ever do that!

My 5 favorite fandoms:

  • Avengers
  • Book of Mormon
  • Pixar
  • Classic Film
  • Harry Potter

I also have lately became a fan of Doctor Who as well.

For me:

Comic Books (Marvel and DC in particular).
Tennis.
Pixar.
My favorite bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath etc…

I’ve been in the Donkey Kong fandom for almost three years now. Most people in it are quite friendly, but some communities don’t seem to like the cartoon much. Though once I drop by, I can usually convince 'em otherwise with help of mah fan art. =P

Okay. I guess it’s time to come out of the closet with this one but i’m currently obsessed over Jimmy Neutron…again.

It all started when I was 8-10 years old. I used to like the show to the point that i acted like Neutron himself (my dad likes to tease me about that).

Nowadays, i still really like it a lot. Not to the point i was when i was much younger, but still enough to the point i miss it badly every now and then.
I’ve, in the past, wrote a few sets of JN fanfictions based out of the Narrator Files universe (which, for those of you who’ve read the original Narrator Files stories [Not fanfiction…but original fiction], explains why there may be some similarities between JN and The Narrator Files. I need to iron those out a bit. I want JN to be alluded to for nostalgia but I don’t want to do a whole lot of copy-catting).
I never did fan art (although, considering I did make a 3D model of neutron [and admittedly of Cindy], i may already have).

Anyways. There’s the story. I hope fandom anonymous will help me.

Those are great!

I have a fandom for Pixar, Muppets, The Princess and the Frog, and Kenny G.
I’m especially ashamed about liking Muppets

You should never be ashamed to like what you like!
Especially when it’s something cool like the Muppets

I’m glad people didn’t go like “What? Muppets?”

A lot of people from this site like The Muppets.

The Muppets are awesome.

Muppets are amazing!

Agreed! Liking Muppets is nothing to be ashamed of!

Wait, there are people in the world that don’t like Muppets!?!

Is there a Rocket Power fandom? I’ve recently rediscovered that show, memories!

Yes.

But that’s not what I meant. I mean that a lot of people in this site are active fans of that franchise.

Besides, that post was answering to Vicent Liu, who thought he was going to be laughed at for liking The Muppets:

Wow, never expected to find so many fans here

Hehee, I know! It doesn’t translate well over text, but what I meant was bc you said “Lots of people on this site like Mupppets”, meaning that there are some who don’t bc ‘most’. I was trying to make a lame joke!

Oh, get it

By the way, watching The Hobbit yesterday bumped my Tolkien/Jackson fandom.

I disregard most of the criticism against the film. This is the movie Avatar should have been!

^Wholly agreed!! Fully immersed us into its world. I badly need to read the book. My friends who are big fans of the book were pretty satisfied with its faithfulness, which says something.
