Just a thread I wanted to put up pretty quickly (I’ve been pretty busy these days… real life and all that, plus my fanfics and trying to install DVD ripper stuff with little success… anyway- OFF TOPIC.)
Anyway, I just recently had an idea and I can’t find a challenge thread here at all (at least not as a sticky or anything), so why not?
Basic idea- someone here posts up the challenge for a short one-shot and someone who wants to take it up posts the one-shot here, as well as their very OWN challenge at the end of the post! The next person then takes up THIS challenge and once again posts up their own-and so on on this very thread right here. You can also provide links to a ff.net, if for instance you think you want to as well.
Also you can post here, simply giving critique, but you CANNOT post up a challenge (save from this original post in order to get the ball rolling) without taking one up yourself. Plus no flaming. Or troll fics. You know the ones I mean.
When giving challenges, also please don’t be TOO specific- give wiggle room. We want creativity going.
I’d also like to see people take up fanfics and give challenges OUTSIDE their comfort zone- for instance, my fandom mainly relates to Monsters Inc, so if I find the time to take up a challenge posted up here, I’ll try to take one which ISN’T from Monsters Inc. You don’t have to do this, it’s just a suggestion. I’d find it a bit difficult to do a Bug’s Life (since it’s been a while), and Up (since I’ve only seen it once), but I may still have a shot at either of these if possible (and if I have the time- real life as I said, but I’ll maybe give it a shot! This is just a quick idea I’ve had!). But if you see a challenge you just HAVE to do, which is within your preferred fandom movie, go ahead, this is only really a suggestion after all rather than a rule.
In a challenge- post the movie (or movies if you want a crossover of some description), the characters you want involved and perhaps one or two things you’d like to see in it.
Plus your reasons for wanting this challenge perhaps.
Anyway- here’s a challenge to get the ball rolling.
Movie: The Incredibles
Characters: Violet and Tony must be involved. Other characters okay, but they must be the main focus.
Things you’d like to see? Tony ‘saving’ violet (whether in a serious or humourous every day way you decide). I prefer the latter, but whichever you want. 
Reasons? We need more ‘Viony’ in this fandom basically. There’s not much out there. This saddens me. I think it has potential.
So have fun! Hopefully there ISN’T a thread like this, I only checked briefly.
Recap: Only post a challenge if you’re willing to take up the last one posted. Otherwise, just post to critique/ give praise etc. to the oneshots posted up here. Also you can post to say you are laying a claim to a challenge before someone else does, if you’re worried about someone beating you to the punch.
