Fav Pixar <3?

I updated the poll for you guys, so if you haven’t had a chance to vote, go on ahead.

Unfortunately it seems I had already voted on this poll. :frowning: Oh, well.

BXJ FOREVER!

I fixed it now, so if you guys wish to vote in this thread once again, feel free to.

I voted the same as last time, WALL-E and EVE

There are SO many wonderful love stories in all of the Pixar films! I don’t blame everyone having a hard time deciding which one is your favorite.

But, for me, WALL-E and EVE’s love story is the most touching, sweetest, most innocent, self-sacrificing, and inspirational one of all time! I have never had a Pixar film inspire and touch me so personally before, and it’s all because of the blooming and pure relationship between WALL-E and EVE…it’s all about sacrifice, loyalty, kindness, realizing mistakes, determination…and the purest, most genuine forms of love I’ve ever seen in a film…and to top it all, it’s a PIXAR film! WALL-E is my ultimate favorite Pixar film, and this is just one of the reasons why.

Oh yay! Now I can vote for Jessie and Buzz

I mean, I know WEVE is probably the deepest and most meaningful couple…but this is the couple we like best, and at the moment that’s Buzz and Jessie. ^^

Wall-E and Eve are tied with Buzz and Jessie, huh? click Mua-ha-ha-ha; not anymore! I am so evil.

Wall-E and Eve forever (quite literally actually).

I really adore WALL•ExEVE… Define Dancing, do I need to say more? <3

Second place would be Lightning Mcqueen and Sally. I just love their little romantic moments.

And third place goes toooo~ BuzzxJessie. I fell in love with that couple after seeing TS3, the scene [spoil]with the incinerator where Buzz took her hand was so adorable, despite being a life and death situation. Not to mention I loved their dance <3[/spoil]

Wow… this is a hard toss-up between WALL-E and EVE, or Buzz and Jessie.

I love WALL-E and EVE because of the complete innocence of it all. The fact that he was willing to go all the way through space just to make sure his “Eva” was okay is just so adorable. <3 I like how Blessed Light put it:

But Buzz and Jessie… There’s just something cute about a Space Ranger and a Cowgirl falling in love. They are so different. But, hey - they say opposites attract, right?

So I don’t really know who I’m voting for. I think I’m gonna vote WALL-E and EVE. <3

As adorable as WALL-E and Eve are, and while not being keen on Up overall, I did like Carl and Ellie a lot I pretty much went with Mr. I and Mrs. I in the end for my vote. I thought the way they brought adult marriage issues into the movie was a great credit to it, how it wasn’t always 100% perfect all the time and how they had rough patches, arguments and times of mistrust, but while neither of them were perfect I’ve a feeling they were right for each other. Their relationship despite being super heroes is… pretty much the most realistic I guess? Marriage takes work, it’s not all fairytales and the end of hard times when you get ‘the one’ to the alter (if the one exists and you even can marry them anyway). I liked that, plus they were passionate even after all those years of marriage and kids in the end. I liked that.

As well as them simply generally being a great team on the field to boot.

Carl/Ellie was good for what we saw of it and WALL-E/Eve came close but in the end I went for them. Then again a Bug’s Life couples in general were pretty good too.

Yes! WALL-E and EVE is really cute. And Buzz and Jessie are pretty cute as well. I like them both a lot.

No need for me to comment…

Just realised I never actually voted in this! I ended up going for WALL-E and EVE, though this is a tough one as there are so many great Pixar couples. Like, I love Bob and Helen together as I think they are the most realistic couple, and when Helen says, “I really love you” (or something to that effect) to Bob when she mistakenly thinks he’s having an affair or that something untoward is happening, it’s one of those very sweet, yet saddening moments that really makes them as a couple. I love how they change so much over time and yet they still love each other very deeply.

Flik and Atta is a very youthful couple- they’re fresh, embarrassed and at times almost act like teenagers, but it’s all very endearing. The way they realise that actually, they’re more similar than they realise, is very sweet and it’s almost as if Atta would have been a ‘popular’ girl at school and Flik a ‘geek’, and so for her to put aside all of her inhibitions and judgements about who he is and to accept that she actually really likes him is admirable.

Woody and Bo may be a short-lived couple, but once again it’s a believable relationship and I’ve always thought Woody does need someone who is able to calm him down and look at things in perspective, which Bo does perfectly. The other Toy Story couples are equally fun- Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head might originally have been a gimmick, but the two characters really do suit each other, and though I don’t feel the whole Buzz and Jessie thing was explored enough in Toy Story 3, it definitely does work between them. They’re just at a different stage to the Potato Heads; whilst they’re a fully developed, settled down couple, Buzz and Jessie still seemed to be at that stage of fully realising the scope of their romance, and a part of me wished they’d gone beyond that in the final installment of the series.

Mike and Celia is one of the few couples in any Pixar film that I don’t think works quite as well…Unfortunately Mike comes across as a little bit sleazeball-ish, and as a fan of Celia I can’t help but not like his treatment of her throughout the film. It’s all mouth and no trousers with Mike, and I can see Celia doing better. Their relationship, to me, is the exact opposite of EVE and WALL-E’s: the former seems rather fake, as though they’re putting on a show, whilst the latter is about as real and honest as you can get, and with no-one observing there’s no doubt that what WALL-E and EVE display for each other is not exagerrated in any way.

Yeah, I was disappointed to see Buzz and Jessie deprived of a real, mouth kiss scene  sorry, I’m a sap.

I voted for Bob and Helen as stated because as you said lizardgirl, they seem particulary realistic and a good example of a loving adult relationship which can have have arguments and problems like any other couple might have albeit it in a very different setting than usual. They may have problems, problems that I’ll bet A LOT of married or long term couples face, but they work it out. Despite their powers they are still normal people, and you do indeed feel the love in the end.

WALL-E and EVE is also simply adorable. But I guess in the end Bob and Helen edge ahead though for me personally because it does seem more realistic, and more like some of the issues people might have whether it is ourselves, our parents or other people we know. That’s a major strength the movie in general had. While WALL-E and EVE had problems, it’s a bit more of a child like relationship in my opinion, it lacks that more realistic factor compared to Bob and Helen. But it’s still got a great heart and it’s just as well since it’s pretty much the major point in the movie!

I kind of also agree about Mike and Celia too. Celia is my favourite secondary character of the movie and while no doubt they’ll probably write it up for them to be married or getting near to that point in the sequel you unfortunatly don’t feel as much love there so I’m wondering how they’re going to make that work on some level. While Mike can care about people other than himself to a degree he is unfortunatly more in love with himself than her in my opinion. I mean, I think he DOES love her but puts himself first if that makes any sense. I don’t get the ‘forever’ feel from them. Perhaps the sequel will change that but it’s hard to say.

I’m not sure what to say about someone’s feelings for their partner who while at first aggravated at the CDA getting at her… then almost seems to forget her until she turns up again the next day looking angry. I mean yeah he was really stressed and all with the situation but… still.

Hopefully after the events of the movie he’s learned to appreciate her a bit more. I mean at least we saw that Celia REALLY isn’t going to take c*** from him. She wasn’t afraid to show she was upset. Definitly not. And Mike isn’t good at taking hints or realising when he’s being unreasonable (probably because Sulley has always shrugged it off usually) so that’s probably just as well.

I agree entirely with lizardgirl and Mentalguru.

You already know who mine is… .I don’t know, there’s something about them…I love it when it starts off from dislike,or even friendship  :stuck_out_tongue: .I also like the timing of it because Lightning and Sally’s relationship spans from weeks to months from the movie to the eploige. It feels more realistic…I also Like how Sally has a purpose, besides being a love intrest…she teaches Lightning how to care for someone else, and trust.Unlike love intrests who just there to be there…like Colette…

I love Colette!! But yes, Lightning and Sally are cute.

I like her too,a little,but I’m not a big fan of her and Linguini’s relationship…
