Fav Pixar <3?

I wish she was more important, but I guess she can’t be. Linguini himself is only a secondary character, answering to Remy.

Actually, I find that Linguini has quite a big role in Ratatouille. He’s the one who helps Remy pursue his lifelong dream. If it weren’t for Linguini, then Remy would have never gotten that position as a chef at his (Linguini’s) new restaurant at the end of the movie.

I myself am not a big fan of LinguinixColette. I find that it seemed too forced for a relationship, but, at the same time, it seems like that is just in Colette’s character to go and get in some sort of fling like that. I honestly never saw them to stay together, but… that’s probably just me.

Well, as far as I’m concerned, Remy is the primary character, so then Linguini is the secondary character. That doesn’t make him unimportant, I just always thought Remy was the main protagonist. I like Linguini and Collette. I see no problem, especially since that was a mere subplot.

Believe me, I’m very anti-romantic (well, except for CentiSpider but we don’t talk about that ), but I actually like a handful of Pixar couples

Carl & Ellie is my favorite overall, it just seemed so… sincere, so pure.
I voted for Flik and Atta, however. They deserve a lot more attention. There’s just something special about those two. Well, setting aside the fact that I love their actors, I always thought they were just a very funny and unlikely pair. I think lizardgirl sums it up best here:

WALL•E and EVE will always stick out, too, because it’s so far the only Pixar film where romance is pretty much the central theme of the plot. And it’s handled so beautifully, I must add.

Colette and Linguini remind me a bit of Flik and Atta, what with the awkward guy and the girl with a “high position of power”. Though somehow, I’m not the biggest fan of Colette… maybe it’s because I tend to dislike feministic characters, though she becomes a better character as the movie goes on.

Mr and Mrs Incredible! <3

Leirin: anti-romance hi-five!! I agree that Flik and Atta are cute, I just wasn’t…touched by them.

MB: hi-five!!

I’ll do this. It’s easier.

  1. Bob and Helen
  2. Carl and Ellie
    3.Buzz and Jessie
  3. Collette and Linguini
    5.Wall-E and EVE
  4. Lightning and Sally
    7.Woody/Bo
  5. Mike/Celia
  6. Flik and Atta

Yeah! And their romance I just thought was sort of a cute afterthought, it’s not a core part of the movie that intends to drive it or anything, unlike, say, WALL•E and EVE.

Oh!! Bob and Helen, how dare I forget them. They may not have that many “moments” in the movie, but they were very realistic parents.

:-D) Some people say they have too many moments, but I can’t get enough of them. I agree, Flik and Atta is sort of a sub plot. It’s kind of cool to see the main character and his love interest not be the center of the film, much like Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I love how they get to know each other before getting all personal. It’s…refreshing in this day and age.

I agree!

WALL-E/EVE->Cutest.pairing.ever
Buzz/Jessie->More like Woody and Jessie. I just can´t see those two together…

Why not? :frowning: I love BuzzXJessie!! :frowning:

I thought that Buzz and Jessie seemed like a pair, especially in TS3. They were sooo cute together. <3

I like Buzz and Jessie also, they’re my third favorite couple!

What are your first two??

MBproductions13: My first is WALL-E/EVE and my second is Carl/Ellie! :sunglasses:

Aww cute  . Pixar always has the best couples in their movies.

Ellie-Jessie-EVE, Carl/Ellie moved me in a profound way, and Wall-E/EVE goes without saying. :sunglasses:

  1. Bob and Helen
  2. Carl and Ellie
    3.Buzz and Jessie
  3. Collette and Linguini
    5.Wall-E and EVE
  4. Lightning and Sally
    7.Woody/Bo
  5. Mike/Celia
  6. Flik and Atta

:sunglasses: I made a full list. Oh. Yes.

I agree with your list 100%.

high-five
