Favorite CGI scenes?

I happened to notice lately that there are some scenes I just can’t get enough of in some CGI movies, like:

In Kung Fu Panda, when Shifu and Po are fighting over the food.
In Ice Age 3, the story of Rudy that Buck tells, it’s just so epic.

What are your favorite CGI scenes?

do they have to be in CGI movies? Because i personally think that the best scene with CGI ever created was the maelstrom in Pirates of the Caribbean : At World’s End, it gives me chills just thinking about it .

I agree, but since this is the “Other Animation” board…

oh right, I forgot about that  I guess that another one of my favorite scenes is from Bolt, when they’re jumping on to the moving train .

It’s in a video game, but it’s an animation nevertheless!

In Sonic Unleashed, there’s this secret unlockable cut scene that parodies the aforementioned Kung Fu Panda scene. It’s a pretty cute near minute long clip. Love watching it.

All of Wall-E

Define Dancing scene in WALL-E. Simply epic…

I’ll have to go with the Wall-E fans and say pretty much the entire movie. If you want scenes singled out, I’d pick the ones where Wall-E shows Eve his truck, his journey into space to the Axiom, his journey to the Lido Deck through Economy, Define Dancing, and the Axiom’s return to Earth. Those scenes were on as grand a scale as any epic sci-fi film!

Other animated movies, well, I could think of the flood scene in Ice Age 2, the flood scene of Open Season, as mentioned before the food ‘fight’ in Kung Fu Panda, the end scene of Surf’s Up, the climax of Monsters Vs Aliens, the opening sequence of Bolt, and any of the races from Cars.

There are probably more, but these are the most memorable at the moment.

Agreed! aswell as the scene when hes gripping onto the spaceship n drags his hand through the space dust, theyre gorgeous.

And the training scene in Kung Fu Panda when the screen splits into different parts n colours.

N i wanna eat that soup from Ratatoullie
