Favorite character in each film?

Toy Story 1: Woody
A Bug’s Life: Dot
Toy Story 2: Slinky Dog
Monsters Inc: Sulley
Finding Nemo: Dory
The Incredibles: Violet Parr
Cars: Doc Hudson
Ratatouille: Remy
WALL-E: The plant! Just kidding, WALL-E.
Up: Dug
Toy Story 3: Woody and Slinky. They worked together, at last.

Nice list, Grofishka!!

Heehee, It’s a nice plant!

Well, really, the plant is the most important character; without it, nothing would’ve happened.

I totally agree. 8D

Of course, but it is not so cute as WALL-E

I agree. i don’t care about the plant, but, fundamentally, it was the point of the movie.

but would the plant be technically a character? because it was an object of importance, but not a character.

I’m one of those weird people who believe every living thing has a soul and is equel to all other living things. So when I see a plant I don’t see it as an object, but as a character.

However, in the movies sense I don’t see it too much as a character, because in the movie it’s treated as an object.

Well, something does not have to be a character to be a symbol, anyway. In Up, even though it was not alive, Carl’s house sort of became a character. Or more of a symbol, if the word character makes people so uncomfortable.

And the plant is, of course, a symbol for life and Earth in the film. So in a way, it’s a character.
Isn’t that what Pixar do best, personify inanimate objects?

Good point.

Toy Story: Woody
A Bug’s Life: Slim, Francis
Toy Story 2: Delusional Buzz
Monsters Inc: Randall
Finding Nemo: Dory
The Incredibles: Violet
Cars: Lightning McQueen
Ratatouille: Linguini
WALL-E: M-O
Up: Dug
Toy Story 3: Ken, Chatterbox, Chuckles…I loved all the new toys =)

Yay! Another Violet Fan!

before I write this I must say that this list is changeable, I mean, I am absolutely sure that some characters will move on when I rewatch these ELEVEN masterpiece films again

Toy Story 1: Buzz
A Bug’s Life: Heimlich
Toy Story 2: Jessie
Monsters Inc: Mike
Finding Nemo: Dory
The Incredibles: Syndrome
Cars: Chick-Hicks
Ratatouille: Ego
WALL-E: WALL-E.
Up: Charles Muntz
Toy Story 3: Lotso

PS 1: despite of liking Buzz, Jessie and Lotso in the TS films, I have to say that Woody is my favorite character of all the toy story franquise, I know it is weird,

PS 2: I really love evil characters in this films

PS 3: WALL-E is irremovable

Love that list, Bryan!!! and Jessie is my favorite TS2 character, but Woody is my favorite in the series by far.

Yes she’s just brilliant! I feel like she has one of the best and most subtle character arcs of all Pixar characters and is so easy to relate to.

Exactly! That’s why I love her. not to mention i still have a huge crush on her.

thank you IV, I am gonna search yours right now, I guess you’ve done one

I love Jessie so much. :sunglasses: She’s a step-up from the traditional female character Bo is, but not in a way that’s trying too hard. She isn’t too aggressive and “girl-power!” like a ton of strong heroines end up being- she’s just herself.
