I’m sorry to hear about your dad, but Nemo’s like 8. Honestly, most kids that age love their parent one second, don’t get what they want and ‘hate’ them, and 20 minutes later forget about it.
I just hate him for it. Now, in Mr. Incredibe’s case, that was the point. But Nemo just…I can’t stand him. He makes me so mad. I guess that’s true, but I wouldn’t know. My siblings have never said they hate our parents.
Heehee, I don’t mean to upset you, but I must point out that you just said you hate Nemo! Just saying.
Also Nemo and Mr. Incredible are arguably the same in that sense. Nemo said he ‘hated’ his Dad, but eventually learned othewise, and that his dad was meaning only to protect him. Both of them had character development.
I hope don’t feel like I’m attacking you, because that’s not my intentions, I just wanted to say this.
No, I’m not upset. It makes sense. 
Most of the characters I dislike/hate are important characters, and the story needs them.I don’t like Nemo in any sense. It’s illogical, but all human emotion is. We’re all bothered by different things, and Nemo is one of those weird things that really annoy me. I can still watch the movie and ewnjoy to an extent, though, because Marlin and Dory are entertaining enough to make up for my anger.
Toy Story 1 & 2 - Hamm, Rex, or Bullseye: Hamm is a hilarious wise-cracking pig, Rex is so timid, innocent, and sweet, and Bullseye’s just cool like that 
A Bug’s Life - Do the kindergarteners count? Lol, that scene where they reenact how they think the “warriors” will take on the grasshoppers cracks me up every time.
Monsters, Inc. - Mike Wazowski! He’s just so adorable, and he has my exact sense of humor. I love the Disney World Laugh Floor thing.
Finding Nemo - Dory: I love her optimism and corkyness (If that’s even a word). “Wow, I wish I could speak whale!” 
The Incredibles - IDK. Frozone and Jack-Jack are probably the coolest, but Mr. Incredible is the most heroic and likeable.
Cars - Mater, Mack: Mater is just hilarious. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he should become the star of Cars 2, but Mater’s Tall Tales are great. And Mack, IDK why, I just always liked him.
Ratatouille - Emile: He’s funny and loves to eat. So I can relate
Wall-e - Cockroach: Not that he has a main role or affects the plot, but he just gives the film a little extra cuteness that makes me love it more
Up - Dug: He’s so innocent, sweet, and funny! “It’s funny because the squirrel gets dead.”
Toy Story 3 - Ken: who doesn’t love him? He’s “groovy” and makes a great couple with Barbie
My favorite overall would probably be Mike.
Toy Story - Buzz, Rex, Hamm, and I want to see more of Bonnie’s toys
A Bug’s Life - Francis, Slim, Rosie, heck most of the circus bugs
Monsters Inc - Mike Wazowski
Finding Nemo - Dory, but I also like Nemo (am I the only one?)
The Incredibles - I like everyone, but Edna owns her scenes
Cars - Mater, believe it or not. He has the most personality of any of the characters.
Ratatouille - Emile, Django, Collette. Skinner is a good villain, too.
WALL-E - Everyone, but especially the two leads. I can’t choose between them.
Up - Carl and Dug

I used to hate it!
But back on topic, i’m actually thinking after a rewatch of “The Incredibles” that Helen Parr/Elastagirl is my favourite. She’s so strongwilled and powerful, especially the scene where they’re on the plane and she saves her kids just as it blows up. That’s truly maternal instinct and that’s a good thing to put in a film.
