What is your favorite deleted scene

and why?

My first favorite would be the Viper scene. After Brad Bird

explained the ideas behind that scene, I have imagined it countless amount of times how it could be inputed into

the film. I think the water/underwater simulation would be beautiful as well. In addition, the "Out to

Sea" chapter is one of my favorite scenes in the entire movie (well, all of them are my favorite actually).

My second favorite would be Snug. I think it would be nice to meet a very

significant character in Helen’s life. And I love Brad Bird’s idea of inputing the concept of sacrifice in the

life of Super Heroes. It would make the movie more impacting I think.

Third is a tie between the

Alternate Opening and Helen’s Nightmare. The original

opening has the originality. Helen’s Nightmare has the humor.

Where exactly is the Huph Gets Cleared scene on the

website?
Havn’t seen that one!

Go to the “Secret Site” in the right hand

corner. A Syndrome’s-Computer themed page will spring up, which “Exclusive Deleted Scene” is part

of.

I loved Bernie’s jaded standardized outlook on the education system.

Any one of those would’ve been great scenes in the movie, but the

classroom deleted scene is my favorite. I love how Dash uses his speed to cause mischief, whether it’s with his

teacher or his sister. :smiling_imp:

On a side note, Lou Romano did an excellent job voicing Bernie.

Sometimes temp voices are the best.

~~=oP

When Bernie stared at Dash, it seemed like he was staring dead right at me. It

was incredible creepy.

I would have to asay Alternate Opening . I just love the way yndrome looked in

his early stage, and Violet as a baby .

Yeah, Violet was indeed adoreable. And if the

alternate opening was used, then we would get a chance to meet the Xerek character that Bird talked about. It

would be cool to see what would happen if he was the main villain. It is incredible how that one simple opening

would make the entire opening different.

For me it’s the scene when Helen confronts Bob - strictly for the fact that "doing the

dirty laundry" is now an in-joke for me and TL. =)

oh shoot! I forgot to add

that in the poll! I feel dumb now. :~o

I found the alternate opening to be kinda amusing.

I’d pick that one as my fav…

Although I haven’t watched them in years – (shame on me!) – , I would say that my favorite deleted scene

would be that “Exclusive Deleted Scene” that RMS mentioned, where we get

to see what Dash was really up to in his classrooms.

Heheh – not to get

off-topic or anything, but I just love that. One reason why I love Dash as a character so much is because he is

simply bursting with energy – he is constantly warned by his mother to restrain his powers, which is almost a

near impossible feat when you are a 9-10 year old boy. Hence, you can’t blame Dash when he can’t take the

suspense anymore…and just goes “off the hook” at times. (heheh)

I

watched that deleted scene to see th actual interior of the schoot. To me, it just looks like any other

school.

The Star Swordsman -

Yeah, I suppose Pixar didn’t want to make the surroundings too different. People can associate with simple

things such as a classroom, even if it isn’t very “flavorful”, so to speak.

I just wanted to

research the environment of the world of the Incredibles.

The Star

Swordsman - Man, you must really love that film. Have you researched all of the other deleted

scenes as well?

Nothing personal; just curious…

Of course I have. I usually watch for various reasons. ne example includes learning a bit about Snug. He was

mntioned once in the film, so I had to refer to deleted scenes to study his personality.

I would go with the Class room

one.

Two words:

Dirty laundry.

Are y ou talking about the scene where Helen finds out Dash?

Heheheheheh…I

love the alternate opening. 'cause of Syn.
