So what
is your favorite Disney movie? Not counting Pixar, just strictly Disney ones. Mine is Aladdin. I love that movie
so much! Close second would be Little Mermaid which is why i’m so happy that it’s finally coming out on DVD.

Hercules is my favorite animated Disney movie. It has awesome
songs, a unique style, and a great storyline carried out by some of the most interesting characters I’ve ever
seen (The same can be said about The Incredibles, but TI can kick H’s butt anyday!
). I have it on DVD,
but there hasn’t been a special edition released yet.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? is my favorite live action
Disney movie, even though it is partially animated. What a brilliant film. WFRR? really made its mark in
movie-making history.

Umm…This is a pretty tough one, as there are so many good Disney films. I think it would have to be Aladdin
for me too, as I love the whole theme and the Genie rules. ![]()
Hmmm . . . I’m going to have to go to Aladdin
. . . not ONLY was it the first movie I saw in theatres EVER, but it has any amazing story, cast, setting, songs,
and Jafar!
Seriously, even the sequels weren’t bad (God love Jafar’s “Second Rate” song). . .
not to mention the awesome TV Series. Which reminds me:
(rushes to TVShowsOnDVD.Com to vote for an
Aladdin TV Series DVD release)
The Lion King for me, hands down,
with Aladdin as a fairly close second.
The Emperor’s New Groove definitely
deserves to be mentioned, too, but I hesitate to say that it’s my favorite simply because it’s so difficult to
compare comedy to more serious films (e.g. Monty Python vs. Pixar, my two biggest obsessions). Although I really
do want to know why she has that lever…
Good Lord, that Lever!!! And you know what? It never gets old!!
Yes, Lion
King was great as well, but you can’t help but love The Emperor’s New
Groove. Just Brlliant - Love Kronk!
I guess imy favorite Disney movie will have to be Narnia.
DElf - I think you’d get along very well with my Modern Physics professor.
First day of class he comes in and proclaims his three heroes in life to be Einstein, Newton, and Monty Python.
He’s like an older, British version of you. =P
Anyone ever see
Kronk’s New Groove? If I remember correctly, I think she still has no idea why she
has that lever…
Because Disney has made so many movies over the years, it’s almost appropriate to break
it up into sub-categories. The Emperor’s New Groove has to be one of my favorite
newer Disney animated movies, if only because the people who wrote that movie have the same sense of humor as
me… gotta love the randomness.
Out of the old-school stuff, i.e. “the princesses,” I’ll have
to say that although I love the story of Cinderella, I hate the Disney version (scarred for life as a child by
the stepmother - give me the 1965 Rodgers & Hammerstein version anyday), and so
my favorite “princess” movie is Beauty and the Beast, because Belle is a
lot like me. I think if she was a modern girl, she might be an internet junkie… Sleeping
Beauty is a close second. I love Merriweather.
And for live action, it’s Narnia all the
way. I’m going to step out in faith right now and say the entire franchise - all seven films. The Pirates of the
Caribbean franchise takes second (eighth?) place.
Pirates was also good. The first one was great, but the second one disappointed me just a
little bit.
(Don’t want to cross over into
the Pirates page, but . . .) I enjoyed both Pirate films, and I have faith that they will make an awesome third
and final film . . . which should give the second movie some some “life” (for lack of a better
word).
I haven’t seen Kronk’s New Groove, but I have seen the TV Series,
and I must say, even though there are a few vocie changes (Pacha & Kuzco) the cast is GREAT, and the lever
keeps playing jokes. (How many bad things can come from one useless Lever?? LOVE IT.)
As for some of the
older animated films . . . I’d say Beauty & the Beast, Little Mermaid and even Sword in the Stone rank in my
favorites. Gotta love Sebastian, Clocksworth, and Archimedes!!!
My all time favorites from Disney would be BEAUTY & the BEAST and the HUNCHBACK of
NOTRE-DAME. Masterpieces.
Oh, I remember The Emperor’s New Groove, KE. ^^ It’s one of my
favorite Disney movies. Just like you, I love the randomness, like when the chimp eats the bug or when Kuzco
stops the film to clear things up. Haha.
However, the sequel is okay, and
the TV series doesn’t quite meet my standards.

yea I have seen it, Its funny
Gah, I can’t have
just one favourite. Some of my top favourites, though, are The Brave Little Toaster, Fantasia, Beauty and the
Beast, Aladdin, Hercules, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. There are probably some more, but those mentioned
reaaally stand out for me.
The Lion King has always been my top favorite
movie…Big fan of that one. ![]()
I like
Lion King and Hercules . Oh, and Great Mouse Detective and Brother Bear . ![]()
Ditto, definitely. The first one is
probably one of my favourite Disney films, but I wouldn’t really even consider the second one.
