about Villains, why not their side-kicks?
I like Kronk, and the two imps (particularly
panic)
I like Kronk alot too . He’s just
so … dumb . The best Disney Villian sidekicks are clueless to what’s going on around them .

Bansai , and Ed , the hyenas ( Scar’s sidekicks ) are very funny to watch too . Have you ever heard their song
, Chow Down , from the Broadway musical ? It’s pretty funny . They also say one of
my favorite Disney quotes :
" Hey , was this meal ordered to go ? "
" No , why ?
"
" Cause there it goes ! "
I personally love Pain and Panic.

don’t really know really much about sidekicks. When I was little, I always paid attention to the hero of the
story and no one else. Good question. BUt it is very hard for me to think of an answer.
My favorite is Shego.

Monkey, from Pirates of the Carribbean. It counts

that’s the question of the century… I mean… out of all the disney villains,
Kronk is by far the dumbest XD which is a good thing.

want to go watch The Emperor’s New Groove Now, but our VCR isn’t set up. Ah well. I love the whole sneaking
around thing with the music he does.
The hyena’s are great too, The Lion King was my favorite movie as a
kid.

Well, I am really embarassed
to say this, but my favorite side-kick is Kaa, from Disney’s [i]The
Jungle Book[/i].
He’s not really even a side-kick – more like a side character. I am
absolutely in love with this guy, for some reason. As a matter of fact, he kind of reminds me of…myself. He
gets into trouble quite often, is shy/nervous at one point or another, and is…mysterious. I think he’s
adorable. (snigger)

Can someone give me a definition of side-kick? I keep getting confused with
them and minor characters.
there are two kinds of side-kicks 1) The Good-Guy
side-kick, A.K.A “best buddy” and 2) The Bad-Guy side-kick, A.K.A the minions.
personally, I like the minions better their always abused.

Well, like

side-kick and the antagonist’s side-kicks. One type helps out the hero, while the other exists to do the bad
guy’s bidding.
There is also a slight difference between side-kicks and minor characters. Side-kicks are
either buddies/minions/hencemen of a friend or foe, and are usually around either to help out his/her master or
for comic relief. Side-kicks can also consist of a brother/sister team, the more important of the two being the
leader and the other coming off more as a “side-kick”.
Minor characters, on the other hand, are
usually characters by themselves who mostly appear either in the backround or who pop up every now and then to
“support” or make an appearance in the story (ie., George Sanderson in [i]Monsters
Inc.[/i]). They are also known as “side characters”.
There you have it.
I am guessing Violet
and Dash from the Incredibles don’t count right?
Nope. You could call them a duo, though.
My favorite Disney sidekicks are Mushu
and Cri-kee from Mulan, and my favorite evil henchmen are Pain and Panic from
Hercules. Pain and Panic were my first ever toon crushes, but that’s another
thread.

Well, in a sense, Dash and Violet are more like side characters – plus, they’re also part of a family,
making them a team. Soo…I dunno. I guess you could make them count if you wanted to.
I guess I will say Mushu then. I love Mushu
because of his red hot personality.
Mitch, I wouldn’t call Dash and Violet sidekicks, not
when they’re part of a family/team like you said.
If Mr. Incredible had let Incrediboy become his ward,
he would’ve been a sidekick.

PixarVixen - Exactly. Syndrome and Mirage, on the other
hand, I would consider a villian and side-kick duo, as Buddy is (in a sense) the bad guy and Mirage is there to
do his bidding, so to speak.
And yeah, Mushu and Cri-kee are cool. My sister and I used to do their
voices all the time.
I forgot to
mention Dory! She was a great help in finding Nemo.
Oh goodness, how could I have forgotten Dory! She has to
be my favorite side-kick of all time…
