Personally, I love the use of all the vocal music in Cars. It’s not just that it’s so much

fun to listen to on its own, but all the lyrics fit so perfectly with the movie itself. It kind of helps that

Brad Paisley seems to be the only person I can sing along with and sound semi-competent, too.

As for

instrumental music, the only actual soundtrack I have is The Incredibles, but even so I’d have to say that

Monsters, Inc. just barely edges it. :unamused:

Yea I agree, I loved TI’s soudtrack.

That brass section just blew me away (not to metion that I play trumpet) :wink:

Well my

favourite would be Cars soundtrack. As far as instrumental soundtracks go it would have to be very close between

Monsters Inc and The Incredibles. Michael Giacchino did an amazing job on The Incredibles soundtrack. Can’t wait

to hear what he does for Ratatouille. Randy Newman is also really great.

I like Cars soundtrack

too, but the only song I like is Life is a Highway.

It’s a perfectly even toss up between The Incredibles and

Cars for me. Both soundtracks use their music perfectly to portray the relevant emotions of the scenes, and I can

happily listen to both of them on my
CD player.

Side Note: Wouldn’t it be hilarious if "Real

Gone", “Our Town” and “Find Yourself” all got nominated for best song? Hey, I can dream,

can’t I?

The Incredibles and A Bug’s Life are my favorite.

The Incredibles has amazing talent and composition but everything is so intense that
 it’s not the usual music

I listen to. You would probably more often find me listening to A Bug’s Life, the suite is so gorgeous

 all the tracks on the soundtracks but I’ll pick the ones

that are sure favorites

I’m not a huge Toy Story fan and therefore don’t know enough tracks on the soundtrack

I think I would like Finding Nemo a lot if the tracks were longer rather than a bunch of little

short ones


And also, I prefer soundtracks that are like
 soundtracks. That didn’t make sense, I know

but I mean they’re mostly orchestral with a few singers. That’s probably why I don’t know Toy Story well and

the songs in Cars are great but it’s not something I would listen to often

OMG, i love the soundtracks to Cars & Nemo! I love the vocal performances in Cars, Real Gone was half

the reason I got it. But I picked Nemo cuz I just like that one a little more. I bought that one mostly cuz of

one bit too. (The music that’s playing as Marlin is chasing the boat).

I love all the music, really, but ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’ from TS always

makes me smile. :smiley: I also like the violin music in MI when Sulley leaves Boo- it’s very, very sad and

sweet.

I’m voting

for Cars since I like ‘Life is a Highway’, and, to tell the truth, I didn’t like any song from the other films

enough to buy the soundtrack 
 Cars maybe 
 but then again, I don’t buy many soundtracks 'cept those from

musicals
