?

Hey! Where are Lou Romano as Linguini and Peter Sohn as Emile?!

Also, I don’t know why you included Brad Garrett and Peter O’Toole in the poll. They’re both fine

actors, but we haven’t even seen/heard their performances in Ratatouille

yet.

I added Lou Romano and Peter Sohn to the poll and voted for Lou.

~~=oP

PV - I left them off the list becasue they work for Pixar, and they

are known for casting people who work there in the films. Technically, they are not professional actors. But

that’s okay, I’m glad that you added them.
They are actors for the film in any case.

Oh, and I

misspelled Janeane Garofalo. Sorry for the slip up.

Ian Holm all the way! He’s done a nice job of “getting into” his

character!

Wow – this is interesting. We

haven’t even heard all the actors yet and there’s already a poll about it. Although, I guess I should

talk…seeing as I started the whole “Who’s Your Favorite Character?” discussion… Heh.

Ian

Holm is, indeed, a most marvelous actor. However, I had to vote for Mr. Romano (surprise, surprise). Patton

Oswalt does a great job voicing Remy, but I can’t resist that shy – almost “cheesy” (no pun intended)

– voice for Linguini that Lou performs so well. But heck, they’re all wonderful actors. It’s hard to pick just

one…

Heh – whenever I hear Janeane Garofalo’s name I immediately think of Titan

A.E.. She voiced the character of “Spiff” or whatever her name was in there. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think it is too early to say.

I love Lou Romano’s voice and all, but I’ll have to

stick with Brad Garrett. I’m a long-time fan of his. =3

Mine is Patton Oswalt because I just love Remy so much he is so cute.

Remy is a very well-designed character – but is that from his acting or his

physical shape, design etc.?

I prefer to say the latter – Oswalt is a great actor, but Remy’s cute

design and finish is what makes this character shine!

Lou Romano is a very

respectable actor, but for some reason, he just generally annoys me. Since he’s just providing a voice, and his

voice really does suit Linguini, in this case he’s pretty good, and he’s better as Linguini than I had expected

him to be. Nonetheless, I still had to go for Patton Oswalt, since he really does bring Remy to life.

No votes for

Brian Dennehy yet? That seems odd.

Bill - Well, maybe not odd. I mean,

you just hear his voice in the teaser and is one part of the actual trailer…

When i see the movie, I might change my vote for someone who isn’t on this list: Mr. John

Ratzenberger.

This is really hard. Pixar

does an amazing job with casting and all the actors fit the character. Hmmmmmmm. It was a hard decision,

but I like Lou Romano as Linguini more than I like Patton Oswalt as Remy. I didn’t like him very much at first

but now I think he fits his character perfectly.

I found it intresting how they picked Lou

Ramano for Linguini. Lou was a Production Designer and Bernie in The Incredibles. It was just amazing how he made

that jump.

Check it out! Pete Sohn got married on March 3, 2007.

Same day as the WonderCon this year.: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Sohn

Well, what do you know? Congratulations to the man! I wonder who the lucky lady is? Heheh.

Thanks for this information, JV! Hopefully it’s true, as Wikipedia can be

rather unreliable. But I don’t think it’s wrong this time.

It gives a link to YouTube, so I watched the video

and on the last min. of the video Brad Bird says "I got to go because the voice of Emile is geting married

today".
So Congrats Pete!

What an intresting find. Thanks for showing us that JV. Congrats to the voice of Emile.

JV - Ahh…I see. Well, there’s the proof! Heheh – Emile got

married. (snigger)

Again, thanks for the link! And congratulations to Mr. Sohn!
