I don’t believe I’ve posted in this thread before, so here goes. :smiley:

  • “In a World of My Own” from Alice in Wonderland, because it fits my voice nicely and has lyrics that are both disgustingly adorable but have some depth
  • “Sing Sweet Nightingale” from Cinderella, which is short and sweet but has such a beautiful composition I can’t help but love it
  • “Baby Mine” from Dumbo, because it makes me cry
  • “Circle of Life” from The Lion King, which is so ambitious and stunning
  • “Part of Your World” and its reprise from The Little Mermaid, a game-changing, emotional ballad that I’ve sung way too many times
  • “Whole New World” from Aladdin, because how could I neglect to include the ultimate Disney love song?
  • “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid, which is catchy and fun
  • “Belle” reprise from Beauty and the Beast, a very brief but perfect look into Belle’s innermost desires

Honorable mentions: “Out There,” “I Won’t Say I’m in Love,” “I See the Light,” “Kiss the Girl,” “He’s a Tramp,” “Reflection,” “You’ll Be in My Heart” (which is SO MUCH BETTER when it’s a quiet lullaby sung by Glenn Close), “One Jump Ahead” reprise, and some of the songs from The Rescuers. It’s almost inevitable that I enjoy songs from Menken’s early years at Disney, so don’t think I’m weird if I didn’t mention some of those songs. :stuck_out_tongue:
