Anything from Hunchback, that is NOT sung by the gargoyles.
I see the Light/I’ve Got a Dream
Reflection
anything from Beauty and the Beast
^Good picks!
I recently made a series of polls on fanpop about my favorite song from each Disney film. I’ll have to list them here sometime if you all are interested in seeing it!
Thanks! And you should share yours
Right now, I’m thinking of Hakuna Matata from The Lion King, and any of the songs from Tarzan.
Excellent choices! Does anyone hate any songs? I never could stand Just Can’t Wait to be king. I detest that one. I hate when people sing it. I don’t really like or hate any songs from Bambi. They just seem bland to me…
Wow, this question is even more difficult than the favourite Disney film one!
Again, I’m pretty sure I don’t have a favourite. It’s probably a tie. A tie of about 15 or more, also…
Out of my head, because I always think of that one, I could say Bells of Notre Dame is one of them. Love both the dark melody and the dark lyrics.
That is a great song. I love the whole sound track, except the gargoyle songs.
I mainly like that song and the score, which revolves heavily around it.
Out There and Heaven’s Light/Hellfire are also epic. The others are good, but certainly not on my top list.
Someday in the credits is also quite beautiful.
I agree with Virginia about Dumbo. Aesthetically, that movie is brilliant. The character animation was a major breakthrough, and the backgrounds are good. But I can’t stand everything else- especially the songs.
I won’t even begin to list ‘favorite songs’ But lately I’ve had two Disney songs stuck in my head.
When I See an Elephant Fly. So I know the controversy behind this song, but as I’ve explained to you guys before, I actually really like the Crows. And this song is basically all word play, so I love it.
Hi-Deedle-Dee-Dee. Honest John is my favorite character from Pinocchio, and this song is so fun.
I suppose you mean Bambi? If so, I lament you don’t like it, as I believe it’s truly one of Disney very best. The songs aren’t very memorable, but I do think they work for the film, specially as themes for the score, which is beautiful. Love is a Song is particularly pretty.
But I can totally understand you. Bambi is a difficult film to warm to. I didn’t like it too much when I was little. Now I’ve grown to call it a masterpiece.
Sorry, I meant Bambi. Dumbo is one of my favorites actually.
I’ll give Bambi another watch. It just didn’t entail what I prefer in animated movies I guess, it just wasn’t my jam.
It’s not that it’s a bad film. (I’ve mentioned earlier that it’s animation was a huge achievemnt). My favorite Disney reviewer summed it up best I think: It’s indisputable that it’s a classic, but it’s a classic people seem not to like.
And in my case I don’t like it because it’s just not my thing. Generally I hate cutesy wutsy cr** and generally I’m not big in to realistic animated films. And this film had plenty of both of that. The only part I remember liking a lot was the ending. Fire? Dogs? Now this is exciting!
I hate that song so much. It truly is painful to the ears, I find.
Yes, I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but one of the things I love it’s that it’s realistic
Yay! I hate it when people sing it. It gets stuck in my head, then I have a bad day. I’m also not a fan of Cinderelly, from Cinderella. I can’t enjoy those mice. They’re so annoying.
Aw, what’s with all the hate against that song? It’s not one of the best songs, but I don’t think it’s terrible or anything.
Cinderelly, or Can’t wait to be king? I’ll admit Cinderelly is catchy, and in some moods I like the mice alright. But Can’t wait to be King, I never liked it. It’s too annoying.
Can’t Wait to Be King. I like the whole soundtrack to The Lion King, so I don’t mind it at all.
I kind of agree. And I’ll be called mad, I know.
It’s not that I can’t stand any of the songs, but in general, I don’t care too much about most of the Elton John songs in The Lion King.
Among my less favourite music from the Renaissance.
I much prefer his work on The Road to El Dorado. Except for Can You feel the Love Tonight, Circle of Life and Be Prepared, most of the songs on Lion King I dislike or don’t remember. And that “big pig” song Timon sings. That is hilarious!
