Monsters, Inc. is my least favorite. It has its beautiful moments and great if listened as a CD. But everytime I watch the film the music takes me out of it a little bit, the only Pixar score that much irritating. I don’t know why.
I loved the Wall•e soundtrack so much I went out and bought a copy. it’s easily my favourite. Although Ratatouille and Finding Nemo are also good, oh and the main Incredibles theme is fun.
But I find the Wall•e soundtrack is my favourite, I like to play 2815 AD as I’m walking around, it sounds like theme music, I keep expecting to see dust clouds blowing around me…
I actually like listening to the Ratatouille soundtrack on it’s own. Kicks off with Le Festin, provides a good orchestral segue to the action to Cast of Cooks, Remy Drives A Linguni, and Colette Shows Him Le Ropes.
Finding Nemo is definitely my favorite soundtrack. I just love the theme music…or “Nemo Egg”. Yes, there are others that are pretty great in the movie, but it really does make me think of the ocean…for some odd reason…but I think that the scenes where this music plays are perfectly placed.
A Bug’s Life is one I also like. Once again, the theme music is my favorite. Gosh, I saw the preview for Cars and I got extremely hyped…'til Mater “killed the baby bumblebee” and I was like “…AAARGH!”. It tarnished my desire to see Cars, but I watched it for my (very late) thirteenth birthday party.
I don’t remember the others very clearly, but sometimes, I’ll catch myself with the theme for “Up” stuck in my head.
Gah. I realize that I’m quite the “theme music” person XD
