Favourite Disney song from Disney canon

What are your favourite Disney songs coming strictly from the official Disney animated canon? (The canon

can be viewed by going to

Book)

Hmmm, i love the circle of life it’s just, awsome.

:sunglasses:

I don’t know. I love all disney songs. For this one, I will have to say all of them. They are

so well done, I can’t pick.

I do love a lot

of the Disney songs. It’s funny how much people enjoy them, yet I think that that kind of thing in a Pixar film

wouldn’t really suit.

Yesterday, I typed out this long list of my favorite

Disney songs…and my computer froze. :stuck_out_tongue:

I shall now start over! These are in no particular order, by

the way. Viola’:

 1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - "The Silly

Song"
2. Pinocchio - Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee
3.

Dumbo - Pink Elephants on Parade (I had nightmares for days after viewing this

particular piece – heh)
4. Bambi - Little April Shower (Love is a

Song, also featured in the same film, was the first song I learned to play on the piano)
5.

Melody Time - Blue Shadows on the Trail (Pecos Bill)
6. Alice in

Wonderland - It is a tie between “All in the Golden Afternoon” and "The Unbirthday

Song"
7. Peter Pan - Follow the Leader
8. Lady and the

Tramp - He’s a Tramp
9. Sleeping Beauty - I Wonder
10.

One Hundred and One Dalmations - Cruella DeVil
11. The Jungle

Book - Trust in Me (I like Kaa… )
12. The Aristocats -

Scales and Arpeggios
13. Robin Hood - The Phony King of England
14.

The Rescues - Tomorrow is Another Day
15. The Fox and the

Hound - Best of Friends
16. Oliver and Company - Why Should I

Worry?
17. The Little Mermaid - Kiss the Girl (do not ask me why I like this

song, as I hate romance :stuck_out_tongue: )
18. Beauty and the Beast - Beauty and the

Beast
19. Aladdin - A Whole New World (this is my favorite song in the universe)

 1. The Lion King - I Just Can’t Wait to be King

Pocahontas - Just Around the Riverbend
22. Hercules

 • It is a tie between “Zero to Hero” and “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love)” (I just like the tune

of the latter one)
23. Mulan - I’ll Make a Man Out of You
24.

Tarzan - Strangers Like Me (this was almost a tought decision to make, as I

absolutely love Phil Collins’ work; hence, pretty much all of the songs in this popular film are personal

favorites of mine)
25. Lilo and Stitch - He Mele No Lilo
26.

Brother Bear - On My Way
27. Home on the Range -

Will the Sun Ever Shine Again (despite the fact that this film did horribly at the box office, I rather enjoy

watching this film from time to time, and the songs aren’t half bad…in my opinion)

Well…there you

have it. (phew)

I love all the songs in The

Hunchback of Notre Dame except ‘A Guy Like You’. Annoys the heck

outta me.
‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘The Lion King’

are a couple of my all-time favorite films, and I love the songs from them.

Oh! And

“Someone’s Waiting for You” from the Rescuers <3

Basically

there are no real favorites for me- I haven’t watched a Disney film so much that I’d get annoyed of any song,

though I have watched them countless times for as long as I can remember.

That

one was indeed a tear jerker. I remembered sheding a tear when I first heard it. Did that get nominated for

“Best Original Song” at the Oscars?

Yes it did.

Did it win? :shake:

I like Friend Like Me from Aladdin. That

one’s so fun to singalong to! Plus I also like Poor Unfortunate Souls from Little Mermaid

No. The song "You

Light Up My Life" from the film of the same name won.
