I believe so. There’s also one called Lost where Mack left Lightning at a truck stop. I’ll have to look on the Cars DVD again.

Because it was Lightning’s dream, and at that point Lightning didn’t think very highly of Doc.

Whoa! I don’t remember that teaser trailer everyone was discussing! Can someone show me which one you meant? I’d love to see it! 
Before Cars came out all I can remember was thinking “Hey, that looks like a good movie, I want to see it once it hits DVD.” And then I can only remember the regular trailers they had for it, that’s it.
The Flo and Ramone scene was the only one I wish they had put in the film. I think that would have been very interesting.
And speaking of scenes we fast forward over…I normally skip the first three scenes or so.

When I first saw this trailer, I had a thought that we were going to get a Bug’s Life 2.

Whoa, so you never saw it in theaters? I saw it in theaters 4 times, and I think my biggest obsession was actually before I saw it.
I remember seeing the trailer and thinking “This looks pretty cool.” I went to go see it in theatres and my life was changed forever.
I love the part where Mater says to Lightning, “This migh’ be a bad time right now bu’ you owe me $32,000 in legal fees.” Like, it was so random and I love when Lightning goes “What?”

I remember seeing Cars in theatres and I enjoyed it. I loved the tractor-tipping scene when I saw it then, but looking at it now I don’t care for it all that much.
I saw it in theaters. I thought it was going to be preety lame. It was good though. I only saw it once. It’s rare for me to see a movie twice in theaters.
My all time favorite was when Mater thought that Wasabi was “pistachio ice cream” LOL… that scene really made me laugh out loud! Who likes that scene too?
I liked the little references to Doc during the Tokyo race.
I love that part! Especially when he yells in front of everyone “Do NOT eat the pistachio ice cream!!!”
^ I agree. I’m not exactly sure why a lot seemed to dislike Mater in Cars 2. I personally thought he was hilarious and he added a lot of character to the movie.
He is a funny character, but you get tired of seeing him for 85% of the movie.
And the other 15% spent talking about him.
Yes, the other 15% had the word “Mater” in the dialogue.
