I really love the scene where Mater says, “I know’d I made the right choice.” “On what?” “My best friend.”

I just love buddy sequences between Lightning and Mater so much! Even more than the cute couple moments for Lightning and Sally.

Yes, the whole ‘Our Town’ scene was very sad and touching. It was one of the best scenes in the movie, IMO.

I also like when Lightning finds Doc racing on the dirt track, and realizes who Doc really is.

I also like the moment in which Mcqueen hears Doc’s voice in the final race and realize that the Radiator Springs gang came to help and see him, so beautiful…

I love love love this scene too! There’s a lot of good scenes in Cars. I’m definately watching it next week before Cars 2!

That’s a great idea! I agree with all those moments mentioned up there too. I also like the part when McQueen is about to go on the drive with Sally and he stops and looks down the road. He realizes that it’s a wide open escape, he could run at that very moment but he doesn’t. That’s when I knew he had changed for good. :slight_smile:

I just watched Cars yesterday. Another of my favorite parts is when Doc shows up at the track for Lightning.

While I was at work today, I randomly thought of the scene when the townsfolk think that Lightning left without saying goodbye. And Sheriff starts tearing up, but ‘covers’ it up by saying “I’m happy he’s gone!”. I love little moments like that.

For me, it will probably be one of the more tender moments. I always prefer buddy moments for Mater and Lightning. :slight_smile:

Oh same here. I’m a real sucker for sappy parts and ones dripping with emotion or romance. The first Cars made me almost cry, let’s see if they can do it again! 8D

In no particular order:

  • Our Town… sad but beautiful and nostalgic.
  • Doc racing by himself with McQueen watching (too cool!)
  • The DRH, of course!!! :smiley: We got ourselves a noddeeeerrr!
  • McQueen and Sally taking a drive together. I love the music in that part. :slight_smile:
  • Guido’s pit stop at the big race. That was amazing. XD
  • The part where McQueen is taken away from Radiator Springs and everyone sadly drives away and closes down for the night. Again, the music is just beautiful and their expressions make me really feel sad for them. :frowning:

…I wanna watch Cars now, after writing this. :laughing:
