Film a la Carte (Spoilers Throughout -- No Tags Used)

I forgot that she was still updating it. Oh, jeez . What am I going to do with myself? Heheheh, I hope that she finishes it as well. I hope that Pixar doesn’t see this though. I still believe that they would sue us.

Pixar? No. This is a Pixar fansite, made with love. If they did that, they would be losing their established fanbase. And I don’t think they have sued the people who made that horrid Ratatooing straight-to-DVD ripoff either, so chances are slim that they would sue us…

rachel - Heheh, I was only joking. I know Pixar would never sue a fansite.

Okay, you’ve got me curious. Plz tell me moar.

I think she could finish it. SHe could add her own commentary or comments.

8D Ok then: Clickety-click.

What’s the point of copying the title if it doesn’t even mean anything anymore :[

Heheh. Don’t worry, guys. I’m gonna finish the script. Freakin’ school and such have crept up on me, but that’s not gonna stop my fingers from typing!

The Star Swordsman - Haha! Well, thank you for the link to the script, but the main point of this composition is “writing-on-instinct”, if you will. I’m attempting to remember the entire thing by memory, with the exception of a few “cheats” (I put on the subtitles while watching the movie now and then so as I can decipher an unknown piece of dialogue or two).

Thank you, though!

Nexas - Hey, that’s a great idea! I should add a few notes within the script now and again…

Thanks for the idea!

rachel - You think I write it funny? (snigger)

Actually, I’d love to hear what they think! Maybe they’re lauging their heads off? Or maybe they think that I’m the craziest person in the universe…? :stuck_out_tongue:  (snigger)

Very well then Mitch. Good luck with it!

I agree that school itself can be a bother to normal life.

Your welcome Mitch. Didn’t want your dedication to go to waste afterall, sure Remy appreciates your effort. Hmm…maybe I should tell him too…

Hello everyone,

Well, I believe that this particular thread is definitely in need of a long-awaited update. This topic of discussion, in general, has descended nearly to the bottom of the well, and I’ve only resurfaced the bucket… only to find that it is half-full of water. In other words, my endeavor to write out the entire Ratatouille script has come to a basic show-down between daily life and extra-curricular activities. Bear in mind, however, that I will finish this thing as if my life depended on it.

In case anyone would like to know, here is some basic FAQ:

Question #1: Will Mitch finish composing every train of dialogue from Ratatouille – word-for-word and chicken-for-chicken?

Answer: Oui. Even if the devil himself attempted to stop me, nothing would hinder my completing this task.

Question #2: Does Mitch refer back to the film for reference at all? In other words, does she cheat?

Answer: Non. The only time I refer back to the production (Ratatouille) is for when I have some difficulty deciphering a remark made by Colette, or if I simply wish to cite pieces of dialogue quoted by various backround characters.

Question #3: Why are you so adamant about these nonsensical endeavors, Mitch?

Answer: You question my obsession?

The only rotten thing about these tomatoes (ha!) is that, unfortunately, it shall be required of me to scan the entire portion of the script I have already submitted so as to check for grammatical, spelling, and dialogue errors. All of that will take some time, but I won’t divorce the project no matter what.

about the script…

I can kind of fill in the blanks for you, Mitch.

All you have to do is watch the movie with subtitles and you know the whole thing.

Sylvermagykan: Subtitles sometimes have a tendancy to miss words in the back. But one better effective way would be to do an internet search. I believe there are a couple sites there that provide every-single-word-action-direction-etc.

Sylvermagykan - Ha-ha. Well, thank you very much for the offer, but my main goal is to remember as much of the film as possible without referring to the subtitles. Thanks, though.

I’d like to do this exact same project, should I put my script in the thread, or make a new one?

i think u should just stick with this thread

A113 - My suggestion would be to create a new thread on the subject with a label clearly stating (or suggesting) whom the author of the composition is. I am rather unsure of whether or not this would be entirely appropriate, however, so it may be better if you took the longer route and interrogated the higher authorities on this matter (i.e., PV).

– Mitch

Uh, but we already have someone doing this project… Mitch.

rachel - I suppose that it would be “legal” for one other person to participate in this particular project, as long as the idea itself is not taken too lightly or in a “hazardous” fashion. I wouldn’t want two thousand other individuals joining in on the chase, due to the fact that the Ratatouille board itself would eventually get cluttered beyond reason.

Like I mentioned before, though, it would be wise for whomever else wishes to do this project to consult with this forum’s higher/highest officials before endeavoring in the activity in question.

– Mitch

uh…

That means i could do it too right…
