While that is true, I myself saw more between her and Mater. Mater is the type who will be friends with anyone as long as they’re cool, and Holley kind of reminded me of what Lightning went through in the first movie, discovering happiness (even though it was simply because they both kept dents, although it was understandable that the main plot needed more attention).

If Finn and Holley just ended up getting too used to each other because of their connection to the spy agency, then I might see them getting together.

I love being in the minority when it comes to stuff like this… lol :laughing:

Actually, I too find Finn/Holley much more believable than Mater/Holley. I’m not even sure if Mater/Holley is truly official. It somewhat seems like she just threw in the ‘i’m Mater’s girlfriend’ line to, I dont know, help him gain a little respect maybe? I can understand that Holley & Mater may have become close friends after all that but I didnt see any real ‘love connection’ there. I’m not saying Finn & Holley definitely could be a couple, but just based on how they acted with each other, if they WERE, it would make sense to me.

^^^ Exactly. Mater and Holley are better perceived as very good friends. I think Mater having a crush on her was enough of ‘romance’ for them. And it seemed like Holley saying that she’s his girlfriend and all seemed so… forced, you know? I mean, it seemed like she had to. And yes, I agree. Finn and Holley may not definitely be a couple by it would make sense and be more believable.

To me, it seemed the movie COULDN’T focus more on this aspect but rather the plot. So it is kind of hard to come to any conclusions.

I love that poster! So James Bond chic with the half profile of Finn, the action scenes in the back, and the pretty girl. Plus, the whole vintage feel of it. :sunglasses:

[size=85]Yes. It’s honestly kind of annoying, Mater seems like a “Ridin’ Solo” type of person to me, unlike Lightning, who kind of needs someone well-rounded to level him out o_0

I really like the Finn and Holley concept a whole lot better, like in MissCarrera’s fanfic, “Unstoppable Spys by day, Lovers by night” ^-^ It’s just more appealing to me, almost intriguing :mrgreen: [/size]
