I’m going to shamelessly promote my own story here:
Forgotten Heroes is a very, very long Incredibles fan
fiction. Thankfully, I’ve been told it’s also very, very good. 
Set during the last half of the movie, it
tells the story of Bob and Helen’s somewhat troubled romance through flashbacks as they face up to their
problems and remember how they came together in the first place. The prose is mixed with official NSA reports,
Mr. Incredible Fan Club newsletters and tabloid news reports, and while it’s not finished yet, it’s updated
regularly (whenever Tonyloaf reminds me how long it’s been since I last updated, really ).
It’s
rated at PG-13. There are some adult themes and language, but nothing you kids don’t see on TV I’m sure!
