Forum Downtime

Well folks the forum is back up.

Apparently there was an

internal database error that was actually a very simple fix - it was just a matter of having the right script and

know how. The good news is that despite being down approximately two days there has been no loss of

data.

The entire Pixar Planet team would also like to give special thanks to James W. for his contribution

to the solution. He knew exactly what to do and pointed us in the right direction. We are most greatful for him

taking the time to contact us.

That being said let’s get this show running again. Expect to see some new

ideas and projects in the coming days along with a return by Radio Pixar from its holiday hiatus to a more

regular schedule.

Yay it’s working ! I thought I

was going to have a Pixar low ( u know , like a sugar low ) . :wink:

Just a quick update, turns out James W. is actually James, one of our good friends at

Animated News & Views. I’m gonna put in a shameless plug for them

now and encourage everyone to check them out if you haven’t already (I know many of you are already members of

their boards). They are an amazing site and I have been privilidged to work with them in the past and they have

been great friends. Thanks again to James and our allies at Animated News & Views!

Side-Note - I visit Animated News and Views

quite frequently now. Thanks to a member of Pixar Planet (I can’t remember who) I

happened to discover that fantastic website. As a matter of fact, I joined a few days ago and am known as…what

else?..Mitch.
