Are there any fans? i am one.
Yep, definitely. The whole array of characters, as well as the general concept, both make it
one of the best animated shows around.
Oh, ABSOLUTELY! This is my favorite show on tv, bar
none! It has just the right blend of humor(often quite sophisticated, Pixar-esque in-jokes and references)and
other emotions, sometimes quite bittersweet(like the ending to Good Wilt Hunting),
and does not rely on “bathroom” jokes or gross-out stuff to get laughs, but often draws upon everyday
experiences we’ve all had, like always winding up with the shopping cart with the “wonky” wheel.
It’s definately a character-driven show, to the extent that you really relate to and FEEL deeply about the
characters, as if they were real people you know. This is one of the trademarks of Pixar’s films, as well, and
to say that Craig McCracken and Co. have accomplished that in the form of a half-hour-long Flash-animated series
that appeals equally to both adults and kids is quite an accomplishment!

I watched a couple minutes of
it. I thought it was okay. That old, gentleman-like bunny reminded me of a pooka named “harvey” and the
little blue guy reminded me of a Pacman game.
TSS: the big rabbit is Mr. Harriman and the blue dude is Bloo. (why is it spelled like that? why can’t it be
just blue?)
Anyway I love the show it’s awsome.
It’s because “Bloo”
is short for “Blooregard Q. Kazoo”.
I watch it from time to time. It’s certainly better than
most of the stuff on our CN. My favourite scene is from the pilot, where [spoil]Terence is
interrogating Mac about where Bloo is, and the big piles of Coco’s eggs he has, and Mac just snaps and says
"I was nowhere and these are nothing and I took care of it.
Happy?!" Then he storms off to his room and sits
there, his anger slowly fading to sadness for having left Bloo at Foster’s. It was really
moving.[/spoil]
yeah, that episode was more of a
movie, speaking of movies has anyone seen Good Wilt hunting?
There’s a topic about it
in the same section, here.
I happened to catch the end of one episode once, and I
must say…it was quite…adorable. Heheh. Which is unusual…for me. I usually hate cartoon shows these days –
they’re not funny anymore, unlike those old Warner Bros. and Disney cartoons: I grew up watching those, and they
were funny. ![]()
But this “Foster’s”
thing is kinda cool. I like the little “Bloo” guy. Maybe I should watch the show more often…?
Actually, the only thing I don’t like about
the show is Bloo!
He’s about as annoying as anyone can get.
Bloo serves his purpose, and he CAN be funny, but you
are right in that he IS annoying as heck! He reminds me a LOT of Mike Wazowski, only Bloo at least does have a
lot more gumption than Mike, most of the time. I guess he and Wilt sorta balance each other out in the group
dynamic, since they are about as opposite as any two characters can be.

But he can be so cruel! I recently watched an episode in
which…
[spoil]It was Mac’s birthday, and in the past, Bloo has always held a surprise party
for Mac but has always embarrassed him in the process. Mac desperately didn’t want a party because he knew what
Bloo was going to do, and Bloo lied his way into convincing Mac that it was someone else’s birthday and that Mac
had trashed THEIR party, causing Mac to get upset and fall for another trick, leading to his own embarrassment
once again! Bloo just seemed so heartless.[/spoil]
Haha – which is why I like him! You
see, I can relate to that: I tease my sister about one billion times a day, so “annoying” is my middle
name to my sister. ![]()
But, like I said, I’ve only seen one or two episodes of the show. I
still like Bloo anyway – I think he’s kinda cute. ![]()
That Blue blob can be very mischevious. but, trouble for Bloo comes daily,
trust me i watch the show. Like this one episode. [spoil] Bloo invites himself in to mac’s apartment
and brings the foster’s gang: Wilt & Ed, since Coco wasn’t invited because bloo said she was a girl. So
they have a sleep over (without Mac’s permission) and they must be quiet or they’ll wake up Mac’s mean older
brother or his mom. And the next thing you know goo and coco are at his apartment making un-nessacery nosie and
complaining that bloo wo’nt let them in, so they go in, and later Chesse is at Mac’s doorstop, it was one big
night and in the end his mom didn’t know he had a sleep over, bloo can cause al ot of
trouble![/spoil]
Phew, that was a big spiloer!
I don’t think you
need to use spoilers, since all these episodes have already aired several times, and anyone who wants to see
them, probably already has. Bloo didn’t bring much trouble on himself in “Infernal Slumber”,
though-Terrence wound up catching most of the flak, and HE didn’t even do anything wrong at all, for once.
We’d gotten into a BIG debate on another forum over Wilt’s role in that episode, where he acts like he’s the
man-of-the-house. I’ve always figured that Wilt was created not just to play basketball, but to be a surrogate
father to some kid, and it turns out, I was right! He seriously acts more like Jordan’s dad than just his
Imaginary Friend; to see them together and hear them talk, you’d swear that Wilt was the older of the two.

I like that show a lot, the
whole reason I watched it in the beginning was because of Bloo
The show’s funny and it’s an interesting
concept. Bloo’s still my fav character. Yes, he can be a bit selfish at times, but other times he really does
care. Plus i just love that he’s a little blue ghost!
other times Bloo can be real jealous, like that time Ed got fleas and he wanted them so he shaved all his hair
off and made a coat with it.
Usually, well, not usually, but All the time he
finds a way to cause trouble.
