Love, love Anna.
Elsa’s face, not so much. But she looked nice in the coronation in that Japanese leaked material.
And, again, I love this film’s setting. I’m an Scandinavian sucker.

Wow! Such awesome information. I really cannot wait for November!
I am also curious about Alan Tudyk’s role since I loved King Candy.
He’s a Duke who originally wants to marry Elsa, and then turns on her because he learns of her ice powers.
Wow seeing those just made me even more excited! The character designs are quite nice and I’m looking forward to the fantastic scenery shots I know we’re gonna get. And I definitely have a feeling I’ll get to like Olaf— echoing what BDD said about those characters, I wound up loving Ray and Vanellope even though they put me off in the trailers.
Just judging from the Japanese trailer, I think Elsa is the most interesting of the characters because of her potential tragedy.
New song demo track! The song choices were all soooo gooood! I already know I am gonna love this and will be another 100% favorite Disney film of mine.
Oh, so this is like a sample of the actors singing in other things? I quite like it! They’ve got such theatric voices, fitting for a Disney film.
Idina Menzel is such a great choice. I always wondered wy they got her for Enchanted, just to not sing.
A lot of people say how this looks similar to Tangled…but really, that’s a given. It’s the exact same computer system they use to animate their movies. It does seem similar to Tangled in terms of style.
After listening to those song samplings, though, I think maybe I find even more similarities between this and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, but in a good way. I don’t know, maybe it was just that fourth song, but also other things such as a [spoil]jealous Queen[/spoil], and just overall how the songs make me feel. Also, [spoil]I love the Christian/Biblical references, which I find bit daring and a nice touch for this particular film.[/spoil]
New toys!
DS Anna and Elsa(as always, so much better than Mattel), toddler Anna and Elsa(either Jakks or Tollytots I’m sure4), and DS Hans and Kristoff.
I love how all of them look!
I’ll be getting all of the 12" scale dolls for sure. But I detest baby dolls, especially Disney ones. So they’re a pass for me.
Not very important news, but some fans might be happy to know about this film having a female director, Jennifer Lee, sharing credit with Chris Buck. Apparently she’s the first Disney feature film animation director, too, at least that’s what I’ve found on many sites.
Just wondering: Have you guys heard this song sampling yet? It’s different from the previous one I posted. Different sections of two of the previously sampled songs can be heard. Pretty good stuff. Bon appetit!
Since there’s talk of merch, I thought I’d mention that I’m playing Disney Infinity at the moment. If you go to the Hall of Heroes, you can see upcoming figurines that are yet to be released, and there are a few from Frozen! Well, those of you who are up to date would probably have found this out through fan sites and whatnot, but if you haven’t heard, there you go.
Really? That’s so cool! Not sure if my sister still wants the game. Looks cool, I wouldn’t mind playing as all of those characters! Wreck-It Ralph looks particularly cool and so do Holley Shiftwell and Francesco Bernoulli. But…I can’t buy those toys! Once you start, you know you’re never going to stop. My sister already said how even the Randall toy was adorable!
As for Frozen, when does a second trailer come? I’m guessing around the time Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 comes out. Is it possible that Disney could soon start promoting their films earlier than half a year inn advance? Just so they can get more publicity because I really love their films…
I know for a fact that the third song is from the musical Spring Awakening, and the last song is taken from Wicked, so probably the rest are not from frozen either, they probably just show the actors’ previous recordings
Kinda surprised no one’s linked to this yet, but Idina Menzel sang a song from the movie (Let it Go) at D23. There’s a clip of it on Youtube:
