Chapter 7 - A Holiday Helping Hand
Setting/Mood: It was the week before
x-mas in Radiator Springs . Snow wasnât falling , but it was a chilly 75F . OK , so it wasnât that cold , but
weâre on Route 66 . Itâs not like itâs snowing and itâs below 0 , but it still feels like christmas to
everyone . It was nice and cozy next to Luigiâs , their lights went lovely with the season , Flo had her limited
edition egg nog flavored fuel , and ramones paint colors were kept to the minimum 4 colors , red , green , white
, and yellow . You could see a small smile and week more often between sally and lightning , which made angie
kind of happy when she saw the smiles , because as a regular teenager , her favorite subject was true love .
Every year , Radiator Springs would have a secret santa . everyoneâs name would be inside a box , and
whichever name you picked , was the car you had to buy a gift for . When angie picked a name out of the hat , she
was disapointed with her pick . Not because she didnât like the car , she wuld have just rather had a certain
someone pick that car .
Mater : Well , hey there , miss angie ! Why are you all disapointed ? Did you
pick yourself ?
Angie : No , No , itâs not that , i picked Lightning . 
Mater : Well whatâs
wrong with that ?
Angie : I wanted Sally to pick him , it would have been more
romantic (sighs)
Mater : Girls and that love business . (rolls
eyes)
S/M: later that evening , angieâs in her cone thinking of a way to somehow give sally and lightning
a little romance in their christmas . After a few minutes Angie gasps .
Angie: iâve got it !
S/M: itâs now Crhistmas morning , and everyoneâs handing out their presents . Doc got brand new shiny
stickers from ramone , who got a new paint gun from flo , who got some new tires from luigi , who got a ferrari
poster from guido , who also got a ferrari poster from mater , who got a bumper sticker from lizzie , who got a
basket of flowers from red , who got some new seeds from filmore , who got a headset for his radio from sarge ,
who got a new flag from sally . Doc gave angie a new portable music player , which made angie squeel with glee
when she opened it . Of course angie still had to give lightning his gift , but she was saving it for a little
later .
Angie : Hey Mater come over here ! I need a little help .
Mater : What is it angie
?
Angie : here .
Angie hands Mater a gift . Mater opens the small package , only to find out it is
a small miseltoe .
Mater : I donât get it , i thought you were supposed to get lightning a gift .
Angie : ( sniggers) oh , i did , and youâre gonna help me with it ( wispers something to mater
)
Mater : 
S/M: itâs around sunset and lightning and sally are in front of luigiâs , both with
a puzzled look on there face .
Lighting : ok sally , why did you send me a note telling me you wanted to
meet me here ?
Sally : What do you mean , you sent me a note saying you wanted to meet me here .
while still chatting about how they got there , mater sneaks up on them , turning his tow cable with the
miseltoe in front of him , putting the miseltoe inbetween lightning and sally .
Sally : ( happy gasp ) a
miseltoe !
( Angie drives past them )
Angie : Merry christmas Lightning . Well , you two
know the rules of miseltoe , if two are under , they must engage in a kiss .
Lightning and Sally engage
in THE MOST ROMANTIC KISS IN THE HISTORY OF HOLIDAY KISSES !!
Sally & Lightning : <3 wow

Lightning : Now , for your gift .
Sally : (still kind of in shock ) i thought that was my gift
.
Lightning : ha ha , not quite . (pushes gift toward sally ) merry christmas .
Sally : ( opens
gift and , once again , gasps ) a lightning bolt sticker ! Usually , if a had another boyfriend , iâd slap him
in the face , but , this , is the sweetest gift iâve ever gotten ! Besides you fixing the neon , that is .
