Good Luck Charlie

Are there any fans here?
It is a good show, more realalistic than Hannah Montana, Wizards Of Waverly Palace or The Suite Life On Deck.
I do love Bridgit Medler and the girl who plays Charlie.
Also, PJ is played by Jason Dolly, who was in Cory In The House, the show was going to go down hill anyway
So any fans?

I am trying REALLY hard not to be rude to here. It’s so hard to state my opinion in a way that isn’t arrogant

This show is terrible. It shouldn’t even be OWNED by the same company that owns the fabulous library of Pixar films.

If TV shows could be rated on Rotten Tomatoes, this show would have no more than 5%.

  1. Standard, unrealistic sitcom family. You can’t have a family this big without some serious issues, and the show is just ignoring them.

  2. Standard, poorly written sitcom scripts. I think they have these scripts lying around at Disney, and change the character names when its time to use them.

  3. Completely unrealistic
then again, most Disney shows have that problem.

When the members of the opposing team kidnapped the mother, shouldn’t she have
called the police? Kidnapping IS illegal. Very so.

Mothers aren’t THAT ignorant when it comes to texting.

A sibling rivalry with that many kids and NO hitting, biting, or throwing hard objects causing possible injuries? (Yes, my little sister does that. She’s amazingly strong for her age, and I’m amazingly weak for my age.)

Unrealistic cartoony shows have unrealistic situations, but the characters and their lifestyles are often more realistic than this garbage.

Remember Dinosaurs? That show dealt with REAL situations. REAL problems. It was probably the single most realistic Disney show ever. I don’t care if the main characters were puppets.

Wow, Jason Dolly doesn’t even look like he has aged a bit.

I wonder what secret elixer he is using

What I don’t get is who names a baby girl Charlie, isn’t that a boys name? I kinda wish they kept Cory in the House.

It could be short for Charlotte or something like that.
I plan to see an episode of this, see if it’s better then Disney’s other tv shows are.

Haha my parents almost named me Charlie (knowing I was going to be a girl.) They said they would’ve spelled it Charley or something, but still.

I’ve been planning on giving this a try since my friends keep on bugging me to watch it, but I haven’t gotten the chance yet. I’ve been
less than impressed with Disney’s live action shows in the past few years, but hey you never know.

To put my opinion I really dont like this show at all, it doesnt even show Charlie and only focuses on Teddy.

I was kind of predicting that.

Well, originally the show was gonna be called “Love Teddy” or something like that, but they changed it to a name that would appeal to boys and girls. I like it. Bridgit Mendler is actually kinda hot, actually I only watch this show because I was devastated when Disney did that “Wizards of Waverly Place” special called “Wizards VS. Werewolves”, and then it ended on a very depressing note. So, when I heard this was coming out, I was excited! It’s a good show. Charlie is a really cute baby.

Wow, that picture really scared me, and I don’t know why. I don’t know why i’ve never heard about this show. It doesn’t seem like something I like, but I want to watch an episode of it, just to see what it’s about. Despite the creepy picture.

Well I’m never buying a teddy again!
Jokes
But, I would like a name like Teddy, it’s nice, but so far some fans
It’s better and more funny then the others, I guess the writers finaly put thought
I still don’t think that photo is scary, it was the first decent one I found on Google Images

Seriously, I do enjoy funny, well written sitcoms. Hannah Montana might even have been one if it didn’t focus on the horrible acting/singing of Miley Cyrus and her dad. (Yeah, if I ever do watch that show, I watch it for Jackson) But Disney these days just hasn’t made one. They don’t even have to be adult. Do something like the Cosby Show, a classic. Normal family, normal lives, but the execution of it and the detail of the characters is what made it hilarious. When Vanessa ran away to go to a concert, they didn’t learn lessons about responsibility and the parent is all soft and fluffy, realizing their child is growing up like in Hannah Montana. Claire is furious and whoops her butt (Not literally, of course), just like a real parent would. And you know what? That scene is one of the ones I remember most from the show because of its realism and because it managed to still be funny.

Holy crap! I know! I want to know what he’s using as well (sneaky eyes)

Anyways, I like this show. No, I can’t watch it back to back, but an episode now and then is cute, like Sonny IMHO. When our band went on a trip, at night my roommates and I would flip through the channels to see what was on, and one of those nights was the primere, so we watched it and were laughing pretty hard at it’s little jokes and what not.

It’s defiantly is the second marker of a new era in Disney shows, from what was the original Suite Life, to the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana, to where we’re at now, Sonny and Charlie.

Oh man, and do I just LOVE all those teddy bears in that picture
 ohmygosh :open_mouth:

I really like this show, I find it way more realistic than the other disney/family channel shows.
It’s about normal kids.
Not wizards, or celebrities, just normal kids.
And yeah, it can be a little cheesy. But i still like it.

I like Sonny with a Chance, too thewisecookiesheet.
