"Good Wilt Hunting" Debut on Thanksgiving Night

Just a heads-up for any of you fans of

“Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends” here-the one-hour movie special, Good Wilt

Hunting, will debut in the US on Thanksgiving night at 7:00 pm Eastern Time. It will finally

reveal some of the mysteries surrounding one of the most-popular characters, Wilt(tall red dude with one arm and

one eye).

And for you Pixar fans, if you watch REALLY closely, there’s a scene in which Mac and Bloo

are strolling through the grounds of the Foster’s mansion, with all these Imaginary Friends and their now-adult

creators behind them at the Reunion Picnic, which is held every five years. If you don’t blink, you will see

the “Iron Giant” with a guy perched on his shoulders that looks suspiciously like Brad

Bird!

I stopped watching Fosters a long time ago, but I never

stopped loving Wilt, so hopefully the episode will be available to download somewhere on the internet a few

days/weeks later since I have no cable… heck, I don’t even live in the US. :stuck_out_tongue:

I love FHFIF! But i don’t watch it all the time, just

when it comes on. but, i willl watch Good Wilt Hunting

I really wanna see that, but unfortunately i’ll probably still be with the fam at that time. Plus i’m the

only one who’d wanna watch it  Maybe my brother would, but he’ll be more interested in football. I hope

they repeat it at a time I can watch it…

I saw it just last night and sometime earlier it was awsome! And it kept you wondering who Wilt’s creator

was, :astonished:

Yes, it was absolutely awsome, and it reinforces

my already-deep admiration for the tall red Imaginary Friend. I sorta liked the way they handled the flashback

of Wilt’s arm and eye getting injured, painful to watch yet not gory and bloody as some would have guessed. It

really highlights his competitiveness and his gameness and determination, along with his sense of self-sacrifice

for someone he cares about. It left some questions unanswered, though-like who eventually amputated his

busted-beyond-repair arm, where he was during the eight-year(or more)period of time between Larry crushing his

arm and him first appearing in the Annual Foster’s Photograph, and how he ended up at Foster’s after presumably

surviving on his own, with one arm and one functioning eye, for at least eight years.

As great as the

story was, it was the ending credits that really made it worthwhile, though! It was an absolute laugh riot to

see Wilt as the loud-mouthed, overprotective “soccer dad” type, hollering at the opposing players and

fans and taunting the referee from the stands at the NBA game where his creator(whom he tends to think of as his

son)was playing!
