Halloween

What do you plan on dressing up as on Halloween?

Al-Bob…

Wow. . . :unamused: plan on trick-or-treating or partying?

most likely we will be staying home or going to the movies.

Oooh, that sounds like fun.

actually it is…last year we went and saw…Meet the Robinsons i think. It was a blast…

Uaually, on Hallowee, my friends would try to catch a scary movie, but I don’t like scary movies.

neither do i…

I’m off to see blackpool lights and go to the pleasure beach for Hallowe’en/my b’day.

My water polo team is going to have a party on the 29th. We’re going to drive to the pumpkin patch to play around, and then go to the grocery store to buy cheap pumpkins. Then we’re going to come back to the pool deck to carve the pumpkins and paint our faces. The boys’ team has a game that night, so we’re also going to paint signs for them, and all go to their game. I’m very excited!

Every Halloween after school, I always carve an elaborate pumpkin. Dory was my favorite, of course. Last year, I made Buzz Lightyear, but I don’t know if I have any pictures of him. I’m still not sure what I’ll make this year. I also don’t know what I’m going to be yet, but my dog is going to be a lobster, and I’m going to take her and my brother out trick or treating. I love candy.

The closest I got to seeing a scary movie two years ago in school was Monsters, Inc. They just seem to favor that film, even though it isn’t scary at all. We almost watched Monster House instead.

I wish that my school could stop all schoolwork for a day and watch something nowadays. But now, the only movies we watch are educational movies.

You know what Sheriff Leigh Brackett said in “Halloween (1978),” “It’s Halloween, everyone’s entitled to one good scare.” :smiling_imp:

No offense, but from your posts throughout this thread and message board, I will have to say that your idea of a typical scary movie is “The Nightmare Before Christmas” in 3-D technology. :stuck_out_tongue:

I hate scary movies. Hatehatehatehate. Why be scared when I could be giggling at a romantic comedy?

Well, for one thing, you get to learn about the realism revolving round the true cruelty of mankind, how the human mind works, the various philosophy teachings and, all the blood and gore… Heh, never mind, I doubt any member here will understand the true genius that’s a good horror movie. :unamused:

I think i’d rather learn about what man use to be like…

It’s entertainment. It’s as good as horror fans saying that they’d rather watch teletubbies than Pixar movies. :unamused:

only with different storylines and reasoning…

Since it is all about the Monster movies, I think I might watch Monster’s Inc on Halloween, after I am done with my activities.

Good idea TSS ! :stuck_out_tongue:
But it’s not really scary though…

Hmm… maybe we can have Pixfan remaster it… Now there is a scary thought here…
