hey everyone. Sinc eit is October, this means one thing. It is almost time for Halloween. What are your plans? Plan on trick-or-treating? Plan on dressing up?
we stay home and detach our doorbell…this year might be different since we don’t really have any plans for anything.
We might go over to a nearby celebration and get candy…
There is aHalloween carnaval at My church. I plan on volunteering there. They got games, food, candy, and attractions.
I don’t think I’ll get to what I normally do for Halloween, though sure candy will arrive at some point. We are decorating a little and will hopefully see some from the town houses.
Other than that, working on a special for Foster’s Fans.
I’m not quite sure what I am doing just yet, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting together with some friends for a pot luck and to carve pumpkins. I miss not being at home for Halloween anymore. I’d always hand out candy to the little kids. Oh well. Time for new traditions!
I don’t really celebrate Halloween, but I have nothing against dressing up and getting candy (it’s throwing eggs and other junk onto others’ houses I don’t like).
I might decorate with a smiley carving of a pumpkin (not the evil face expressions- the happy kind).
I’m going to a party at my church with games, candy, and maybe even competitions. I am going to be dressed up as a bat.
Then, after the party, if people are still trick-or-treating, I will spend the rest of the night handing out candy, and making spooky sounds as people pass by.
Man, I am never celebrating Halloween with my best friends ever again due to an incident that occurred to me the previous year.
See, at then, there was a special Halloween event in the Singapore Night Safari (a night zoo where some exhibits lack enclosures) where the staff members jump out from blind spots and hidden areas in attempt to frighten the guests. It sounded like a great way for us three (me and my two friends) to bond together on that special Halloween night, especially since we never did anything special before (not even till now) together - ever.
Nevertheless, both of them suddenly reported to me that they were unable to make it due to the session being at night after they promised me otherwise. It was the most disappointing moment shared between me and friends, so it kinda became a shadow of my life, leaving its scar.
This year, the Night Safari are on it again, but we, unfortunately, will never be again.
I always liked the idea of treat-or-tricking, but I never had my chance in participating it, ever, since it’s not a very common - heck, a barely found tradition in Singapore. The adults would have think that it’s dangerous for kids to go out at night anyway, so I doubt the initiation of this event is ever goner happen.
I think I might go check out the pirated version of "Saw V" online, if it’s available. I know it’s wrong to support this kind of thing, but as you can see, I have little options to take if I want to celebrate a good Halloween. I never really celebrate a good holiday before (always kinda just watched Halloween specials on Disney Channel back then), so I’m hoping this one will be better. Hopefully.
Well in the morning I’m auditioning for a character role at Disney World (if I can find a ride to the audition place beforehand). I don’t know if I’m going to go to school that day, so I don’t know if there’s any point in dressing up. I have a costume though. I was going to be Ugly Betty. I’m not going trick or treating because there’s no place to go and no one who would willingly go with me. So I’m probably just going to cuddle up and watch The NIghtmare Before Christmas, because that’s my tradition.
I want to go trick-or-treating, but my mom won’t let me >___<.
I really want to dress up though! Not sure what to be =/
I might be going to a Halloween party, but that usually involves lots of alcohol and people being sick everywhere (it is a Sixth Form party, after all) and I’m not sure if I’m up for that this year. I might go, if I can find a costume that isn’t the Grim Reaper, as I always go as the Grim Reaper (it makes a very good pun from my real surname.
)
Either that, or I stay in and do nothing, which wouldn’t be surprising.
I’m probably gonna do nothing also… ![]()
Because, i will be with my dad so i’m gonna stay with him.
Maybe when Halloween’s over people can post if they saw any Wall-Es (or other Pixar characters) out trick-or-treating.
I remember at the opening day Wall-E midnight screening, there were at least six people wearing Wall-E outfits (cardboard boxes painted silver or lined with tinfoil, etc). Wonder if any will be out trick-or-treating…
Hehe… that just made my day! ![]()
As for my plans… ermm can’t say I’ll be doing any trick-or-treating hehe, but am going to a couple haunted houses with friends. Always fun all around.
P.S. My favorite quote one of my friends said… “Ok,… one… of us is… going to freak out!”
Other than that… not a lot. I sure miss the days of trick-or-treating with friends… but I suppose we all have to move on someday. That’s not to say I can’t scare the kids that come up trick-or-treating! Muhahah…HA!
Psssh, I’m kidding, I would never do that. ![]()
Of course… I’ve been wrong before. ![]()
This year I’ll be going to a Halloween costume party (my first!). I plan to dress up as a gypsy, ALA Esmerelda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I can’t wait! ![]()
