Halloween

It’s coming everybody.

Treat or treats, candy, costumes, etc. I started this topic in wondering a couple things. What are you guys going

to do on October 31? And who are you going to be?

I was wondering when someone would create a Halloween-related thread.

Well,

I’m not sure what I’ll be going as this year, or even if I will be going trick-or-treating at all. I don’t

usually celebrate Halloween, but rather help my mom hand out candy and tracts. However, I did go

trick-or-treating for the first time last year; I went as Steven Irwin, which I would consider to be kind of a

tribute now.

If I do go at all this year, I will probably be going as an anonymous jedi…or Luke

Skywalker. My sister, whose name is Leia, has a Princess Leia outfit, so she’ll be perfect. And my dad, who has

a Darth Vader costume, can do the voice of Darth himself, so it all fits in perfectly. And since I’m a sibling

of my sister, Leia, I guess I kind of have to go as Luke then, huh? :stuck_out_tongue:

Intresting Mitch. You have fun Trick or Treating.

Me, I am going to dress as Mr.

Incredible. Yep, that’s right. I was pondering wether to be him, Dash, Frozone, or Syndrome. And I am going to

do two things.

One: Me and other members of my school’s Drama Club is doing a food drive, collecting

canned foods for homeless, hungry children. We dress up and go around the neighborhood, collecting canned

food.

Two: I am going to dress up and volenteer for a Halloween Carnival at my church. I am going to host

carnival games and be as interactive with the children as much as I can, even if it means acting like Mr.

Incredible.

Wow. That’s wonderful, The Star

Swordsman! It’s always nice to help the needy; it makes you feel good, too.

And yeah,

I kinda pictured you in a Mr. Incredible outfit. Your avatar just made me think of it.

Unfortunately the biggest Mr. Incredible costume didn’t fit me so this year I will be V from

V for Vendetta.

I went as Brad Bird last year but no one got it. I would go as John Lasseter but I doubt

anyon would get that either.

I’m hoping to finish making my costum ebefore Halloween.

We just managed to cut out teh fabric so far. It’s a Phantom of the Opera based ballgown. XD Technically I’m

being Chritine, if I can finish. I might find some latex vampire bitemarks and add that on my neck to make it

mroe halloweenish.

I would’ve,

Dashy. <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/grinandwink.gif” alt=“;-D” title="Grin and

Wink" />

I’m 22, but I’d LOVE to go trick-or-treating again. I miss

it.

~~=oP

I’m dressing up in two different costumes this year. On

the 28th, I’m going to a Boo at the Zoo event, and for that I’m dressing up as Visas Marr, a Miraluka Jedi from

Knights of the Old Republic II. Mostly because it’s a warm costume to start with, and I can layer under it

easily.

On the 31st proper, since I’ve decided I just need to look freakin’ hot for a day, I’m dressing

up as Mara Jade, Emperor’s Hand. You know, the character from Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn trilogy, who is so many

levels of amazing. Need to fix the belt, though.

…yeah, I make professional-grade Star Wars costumes as

a hobby. Halloween is a fabulous excuse to wear my handiwork.

I get to sit at home all by myself and hand out candy.

Fuuuun. :unamused:

I really want to dress up though. I have no clue what to be. =/

I

know how it goes, AD. That’s exactly what I’m doing this year, and I’ll no doubt be doing homework between

‘customers.’

Dash, I want pictures of you dressed up as Brad Bird.

As for me, I’m dressing up as

Carmen Sandiego. I love dressing up as her; last year, I went to class dressed up as Carmen just because I could

 • which I’m also doing this year - and so many people recognized who I had dressed up as… it was "grand

fun," as my friend would say.

We should all take pictures of ourselves in costume and post them after

Halloween.

You could be candy mountain XD

I’ve already been to a Halloween party, a couple of weeks ago. It was a bit early, but it was my

friend’s birthday, and she likes Halloween and wasn’t allowed to have two parties, so she just mixed them

together. I went as the ‘Grima Reaper’ (Grima being my surname, hence the bad pun.) It was pretty fun, despite

the fact that very few people had bothered to dress up properly.

When it actually comes to the 31st, I’ll

probably just carve a pumpkin or something. We don’t actually have trick or treating here, (it’s much too

dangerous. cough :unamused:) so yeah, I’ll just have to settle for watching some crappy Halloween movie at home

instead.

Dash - Haha – I might have gotten it.

DWH -

Sounds great. Mara Jade is an awesome character…

Abbervail Dream - Don’t

feel too bad. I still do that with my mom every Halloween; call it a “family tradition”. So, just so

you know, you’re not the only one that will (probably) be staying at home for Halloween. :unamused:

KyrieEleison - Haha – I love Carmen Sandiego. I used to watch the shows and

play the video games all the time.

And yes, we should take pictures of

ourselves. Fantabulous idea…

lizardgirl - Haha! I don’t know why, but

your post made me crack-up for some reason…

I think not, Sam.

:unamused: XD

Only 8 days away! I

can’t wait!

I

knew I should have been a clown. smacks self

lizardgirl: Haha – I’m kind of glad you aren’t, though. Clowns scare me. But you

would make a very nice entertainer.

Not the way my step-dad’s

doing it . It put a stake where the heart is and put fake blood on it.

Which is so wrong .

I’m

doing a classic this year , a witch . But my hat has spiderwebs on it so it looks cute . and feathers . feathers

rock .

That is just wrong, like you said. I would hate to see someone dressed up as a zombie

Steve Irwin.
