Can you believe it has already been 2 years since the theatrical release of The Incredibles? My life has completely changed for the better over that period of time.
I’ll never love any movie more than Brad Bird’s masterpiece…ever. But even though Brad was the creative genius behind it, I can’t give him all the credit. A lot of Pixar magic brought The Incredibles to life. Without their help, TI might still be a dream.
Thank you Brad Bird and Pixar for making The Incredibles.
I remember the first time I saw The Incredibles, I was stunned when I saw the animation because it looked so real and I wanted to see it again but I never got to, but I did watch it the first day it came on DVD.
I saw The Incredibles with my reluctant friends for my birthday. I remember them moaning and groaning at the prospect when going into the cinema, and chatting about the best parts of the film and how good it was coming out.
I can’t believe it. I have been in love with this movie for two years. So many memories and events have happened. I can remember watching it for the first tim and how blown away I was. I remember watching it over and over again until it stopped showing in theaters. I remember how anxious I was before I got the DVD. And how excited I was when I first got it. It was fun watching The Incredibles over and over again. This includes the movie, the commentary, the extras, etc. The more I watched it, the move in love I became with it. Since then, I couldn’t go a day without talking about it, or even watching at least one second of it. Seriously, I would spend maybe an hour after school watching it, doing internet research, etc. I was devoting myself to be the number one Incredibles fan. In the begining of 2005 is when I started reading Incredibles fanfics. I cherished many of them.
Those motivated me to write one. Currently, I have three finished, extremely well-loved fanfics, one almost finished, and two still in the works. I check fanfiction.net and even Youtube for any/all Incredibles updates.
Yep, it is true. I watch many music videos, clips, anything on that site. In the begining of August is where I decided to make my first Incredibles music video. It took me a week to finished, but I was proud of the end result. Since then, I made even more. Right now, I have eight finished Incredibles music videoes completed. So that made two things that increaded my fandom of the Incredibles: fanfics and music videos. I try to obtain some Incredibles merchandise too. My room isn’t as well decorated as the Incredishine, but I am still trying.
Looking back on rhis biography, all I can say is who. look how one simple movie greatly impacted my life. I became more out going, a little more couragous, more caring, and a whole lot more. Thank you to Brad Bird and ever person who contributed to this film. You guys are my hero. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to see more from you guys.
You know, that is true. It is said on a podcast how a group of friends were joined together through the love of the Incredibles. Who would’ve thought it would turn into a love for Pixar?
Yes, this film is one for the ages, all right. Although The Incredibles did not impact my life and love for Pixar as much as Finding Nemo did, it is still an amazing film: one to be treasured and one that is worthy of respect.
To the entire Pixar team: Great job! And, thank you.
lizardgirl - Haha!
gottalovepixar - Hey, yeah. You’re right…
The Star Swordsman (concerning your former post) - And that, Mr. Swordsman, is what makes a true fan. Be proud of your obsession; say it loud and proud.
The Star Swordsman - Haha – awesome! I wish I had the courage to shout my love for Finding Nemo to the universe…
So, you also center your Incredible fan fiction stories around the holidays, as well? Interesting – and here I thought I was the only one who did that. My Ratatouille story also features a Christmas theme.
Ya, so while’s it is out in the open, I guess I’ll tell you what it is about.
My Incredibles christmas fics will feature the Incredibles celebrating the “12 days of christmas”. The family does something different, fun, exciting, adventureous, and even Super each day until Christmas time.
The Star Swordsman - Very cool – I can’t wait for you to release it!
Heh – The Twelve Days of Christmas. That brings back memories. That particular carol being my favorite Christmas song, I decided to revise it one day so that the title of it became The Twelve Days of Nemo. My sister and I were crackin’ up…
Side-Note: Not to get too off-topic here, but, if you would like to read my Ratatouille story, then here you go: Ratatouille
Chapter two and three are up, if you would like to read them.
And speaking of which, now that you mentioned sister, i remembered watching the Incredibles with my twin bro for like, the entire day! Ah, so many anniversary memories.
have any of you guys who posted her have an “indepth discussion” with your friends about this movie? I remember having one with my friends and I told them alot about the people here and my theories and other stuff. And doing and recording commentarys when I watch the movie. it was a lot of fun.
