Pixar’s first feature film, the first fully-computer animated film of all time, has it’s 13th Anniversary today! Toy Story not only paved the way for our favorite studio, but for a whole industry. Although ten years before, Pixar had been stepping it’s way closer and closer to this goal, this film proved that computer animation was a valid way to tell a compelling story. John Lasseter’s directorial debut laid the ground for Pixar’s 9 consecutive hits (soon to be 10!!), so today we recognize the hard work that went into making and the beauty of, Toy Story!
Congratulations to John Lasseter and everyone who made this amazing film possible and still immensly enjoyable to this day!

I think Toy Story will always be my favourite Pixar film. There’s something about it, about the characters and about the story, that seems so pioneering even now. Happy anniversary, Toy Story!
