Happy Birthday, Thomas Newman! (Nemo, Wall-E)
Today we had the last session with Tommy for his latest film (The Adjustment Bureau) and word passed around that it was his birthday today… so at the end of the day we all played Happy Birthday for him. I see other Pixar-related people (like Michael Giacchino – another October birthday) having birthday threads here, and just thought Tommy deserved one too.

Well then, happy belated birthday to Thomas Newman, a musical genius. 
I’m sorry for being late as well, but I had to let my favorite composer know that I wished him a happy birthday. Congrats Mr. Newman, keep making miracles.

Thomas Newman’s not my favourite composer, but he did a great job on Wall-E. I don’t think Randy Newman or Michael Giacchino could have done it better. Happy Birthday.
