Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part II

No Harry Potter film had a 100% so it was bound to go down.

I know but its still sad

Forget about RT. After Cars 2, I’ve stopped caring about the Tomatometer.

Yeah but I still like it when Harry Potter gets high %s but I know what your saying… I still havent seen Cars2

I wish I could stop caring. I dunno, I just love looking at those scores. I’m so happy that HP’s getting great reviews, it’s making me even more excited. 96% <3 And only two rotten reviews so far! And the Oscars just keep popping into my mind…

What are you talking about? It’s like the best score ever! (And let’s face it, probably doesn’t deserve it).

It’s still one of the best scores that site has, and it’s probably leveled now. It’s very likely it remains like that.

Holy Rollers is a great movie!

I wonder what the actors are thinking about the last movie coming out.

I posted a video in here about their last days on set.

My mom is really Christan oreinted (as am I) so I wasn’t allowed to watch these movies (yet she bought the first few books for me to read  ) I have only seen the 1st two I want to see this movie in theathers though I got to netflix it

I was raised a Christian, and my family had no problem with it! I think Jesus wouldn’t mind me watching a fictional film about wizards.

I agree with that and the fack that JK Rowling is a christan and regularly attends church says something. Though my mom think she is just out there for that

96% is brilliant! WALL-E is at 96%, y’know, and think about how hyped that was!

I don’t think you should watch the last movie without watching the rest. Much has changed while the series progressed. You simply won’t enjoy it.

Also, I’m not Christian, but I think they should rejoice in the fact that what Harry Potter mainly teaches is the resistance against evil. Even many priests have said so.

You will spam us, won’t you? 8D

If you aren’t a spammer, at least remove you signature. Publicity of that kind isn’t allowed here.

Yeah my freinds who have ept up with the series have told me I should try to watch the other 1st that I’ll be too confused.

I think there are some great lessons in Harry Potter that some fanatics fail to see.

I just came back from the movie and I liked it. Of course there were many changes from the book but it still didn’t change the fact that I had to cry (or maybe I’m just a wimp). And now I have to let it all sink in, it’s kind of unbelieveable to know that it’s all over now.

^ Lucky, I can’t believe you saw it! Don’t worry, I’ll be a complete mess. I’ve been looking forward to and dreading tomorrow night for a while now. Mixed emotions…but gosh, I can’t believe it’s over.

I tried to warn people…but no, they won’t listen. After fans see the last Harry Potter film this weekend, they will be devastated once they realize Harry Potter is over. They don’t think so NOW, because they want to think that they’re made of tougher stuff than that. But this film series has been going on for ten years now. Other film series do not take up so many years of a person’s life. Direct-to-DVD Ajir Bud sequels don’t count, and horror film series have different stories in each film, or something along those lines, and only appeal to horror film fans anyway. Star Wars, well, that was three films released twenty years apart from three other films…not the same thing.

This is ten years of people’s lives in which they have changed and grew. If you count both the books and movies, it has been fourteen years since the first one was published. That is two times seven, one year for each book and one year for each movie. (Not in time to come out, of course. I mean that you could say each year belongs to one of each of the things. Okay, maybe that’s taking the metaphor too far…)

It is going to end, and people will despair. Yes, Wizard of Oz and Septimus Heap films are coming to ensnare the fans feeling lost because Harry Potter is done. But Wixard of Oz and Septimus Heap are not Harry Potter, will never be Harry Potter, and are just ersatz substitutes.

Hey, don’t try to scare people away from giving Harry Potter the hugest box-office weekend in history. A lot of people will be seeing this film who haven’t watched the last several. It’s kind of a duty; even if you can’t stand a series, if it is loved by everyone from eight to eighty, you must at least see the beginning and the end so that you’re not totally at a loss.

(I say this as social custom, but nothing is going to force me to watch the boring Star Wars films, or Lord of the Rings. I do not follow silly social customs like that. I watch what I want to watch and like what I like. Besides, books are more important to me than film…when I do watch things, it’s to see good-looking girls. And even if LOTR and Star Wars have good looking girls, they are things I cannot stand on the screen, even if I can stand them in books.)

Also, the strongest Christians I know love Harry Potter. It is the weak Christians who fear it, without understand that it has its own Christian influences.

Not to get into religion here, but there is a guy named Richard Dawkins who thinks that fairy tales damage kids, and he targets Harry Potter too. He is an atheist and is against fairy tales because they inspire hope in people, and hope is an offshoot of religion according to him.

So remember: any Christian who is against Harry Potter believes the EXACT SAME THING as a devout atheist, and you might want to question the faith of such people.

I am very sorry to get off on this…the irony of it strikes me as ridiculous and I just had to say it.

I’ll repeat it. This isn’t the end of Harry Potter. That was in 2007.

And still, that wasn’t the end. If you’re like me, you’ll manage to keep it alive forever.
