I just thought of another name my dad calls me- Smiler :smiley: He’s being sarcastic, obviously. He calls me it whenever I look sad or gloomy (which is a lot) :laughing:

My surname is Grima (pronounced ‘Greema’) so a lot of people I know either call me by my surname or variations of it, such as Grimey, Grima Reaper, etc. :laughing: I don’t really mind, especially as my first name is so common.

There are some very creative nicknames on here! Liking the spudiness.

I’ve actually got a lot of nicknames that my friends call me, but they usually have something to do with my actual name. Like, a lot of people call me by my full name, First and Last, which I think is actually kinda funny :laughing:

My first name is Forster, so I get the generic “Forrest Gump” stuff. But now the people I hate call me “Stretch” because I have really bad stretch marks. It irritates the living crap out of me and it makes me so angry.

I can’t think of any nicknames at the moment, but the kids at my school call me bad things all the time. Most of the time, it’s just a certain word, and then other times, it’s something different. Sometimes, I fight fire with fire, but usually, I just tell them to “Shut up!”. But, I can’t tell the teachers on them, because they usually know about something I did that the teachers don’t know about, and then I end up in the principal’s office (which has been happening ALOT lately).

Ding, your surname reminds me of Chandler’s surname from Friends. His full name is Chandler Bing, and he hates when people make fun of his last name 8D

My mom used to call me “Bumpykins” when I was little…it’s only upon typing this that I realize how weird of a nickname that is. She said it’s cause I was always bumping into things. Nowadays my friends call my “The Walking Dictionary”, cause I like words :-D)

That’s what my dad used to call himself (back when he wanted to impress us as kids). Among other names, “99%”, cause he claims to know 99% of all the things you need to know in this world (and asking him questions as a kid, that may be true!). That percentage has been going down over the years, though!

My first name is Andre. I’ve often being compared to Speedy Gonzales’ war cry (“Andale! Andale! Yeepa, yeepa!”), and my mum calls me “Andre Yeeha”. My dad’s a little of a wordsmith, so he goes for rhyming nicknames for all of us; “Andre the Paudre” for me, “Alain the Melon”, “Adele the Pedale” (Pronounced “Pair-dell”, it’s supposed to be “pedal”, so it’s technically not a rhyme!). As far as I’m aware of, I’m not exactly a religious sorta person. :stuck_out_tongue:

My friends like to emphasize the Frenchness of my name by breaking up the syllables in a mocking tone (“On-Traaay!”), but I’m cool. I got my own aliases for them anyway. :slight_smile:

And when I log on to an online game match, my ‘gamertag’ is usually ‘Teh Tarik’ cos it’s one of my favourite drinks, and it has my last name somewhere in it. Yeah, I like puns.

thedriveintheatre- Haha, those are some cool nicknames. The name Andre always reminds me of the villainous Lum from one of the Rayman games (don’t know if you know of him/them). But he’s cool. :laughing:

I’ve been called LOADS of names over the years haha, but they’re all positive one for fun and never annoyed me =)

The one i got called the most, was in high school was Spider Man because i could/can climb anything like the top of the school gym for example, running around on top of and jumping of buildings at school, ermmm just that kind of stuff really. I didn’t mind the name though because i like Spider Man =) I got called monkey man alot for this also, but mostly spider man.

I’ve been called multiple others but only for a brief amount of time, a good year i was called the above ^
