I just watched Cars for, like, the 58th time… And I just noticed that everytime Lightning and Sally have a little “moment” all the cars around them sort of, avert their eyes. Could they not tell that they were into each other, or were they just not looking at them on purpose? Iono, I just thought I’d ask ya’ll’s opinion. :wink:

It would be strange if you were with someone you love, and you have all of these eyes staring at you. That would be an invasion of privacy

Funny you mension this,I was just thinking the same thing,why do people who like L&S think the same way :laughing: :unamused: ?,anyways yeah I was like "what the heck?“You people act like you ain’t ever seen a girl and a Boy having romantic feelings for each other” :neutral_face: .

Yea, I know… It’d be weird to have people STARING DIRECTLY AT YOU, but it’s like, they don’t even notice them at all… Am I making any sense? Lol, please, just ignore me. :unamused:

What would be even more creepy is if the Cars actually looked at you while you were watching the movie. I hate when cartoon characters do that, breaking the fourth wall. It gives me the shivers.

Well they are all staring at me from the movie poster…all 500 or so of them…especially when I am eating cookies…LOL :unamused:

Ok, I’ve just noticed something else, well, three things actually.

  1. In the scene right before they cruise, when McQueen says, “Is it getting dark out?” Mater actually looks up! XDDD Omg! Mater is so clueless sometimes.

  2. The scene where Mater finds out that McQueen likes Sally, right before the backwards driving part, when Sally is trying to turn on the lights, listen REALLY CAREFULLY and Mater’s saying something like, “I ain’t never seen Frank that excited,” McQueen: “Yep” Mater: “Yea, I think Frank was excited over something! It must’ve been you’re red bumper. Hehehe!” XDDDD Omg!!! :laughing:

  3. When Mater asks McQueen about the helicopter ride, right before he tells him that he was his best friend, in the background you can see a little sign shaped like a car. It’s right beside Mater. What the heck IS that??? Lol

I can answer #3…That’s one of the doodads Fillmore has around his place…little metal car-shaped signs…well I was looking in my screencaps to see if I had a pic of his place…but he’s got all of this recycled art in his yard.

Now I’ve got yet 2 more reasons to watch the movie again… :unamused:
