Hello, it's me, TSFan!

Yeah, but this person is highly suspicious.

Yeah.

She has VHS copies of new movies… she must be legit

Yes, I suppose you’re right. I’ll have to pay for it.

And I don’t think I can get Toy Story 3 on VHS. My nephew gives me all my VHSs, and he would’ve already gotten me Toy Story 3 if it was out.

Oh, I just remembered, I also have a BetaMax player, is Toy Story 3 coming out on BetaMax tape? It should be, right?

And yes, Zac, I’m 52.

I wouldn’t know what a BetaMax is, I am 13. I will Wikipedia it though. Do you understand about Wikipedia?

Wikipedia? I suppose I’ll have to ask my nephew…

I’m surprised VHS is even a word these days. Seriously.

A BetaMax? Those haven’t been used in years.

You’re not fooling anyone.

A movie’s release date has almost nothing to do with technology, as opposed to other things. Certainly she would’ve seen billboards, or a commercial, or an advertisement for it. If she saw the trailer then she would’ve seen the release date at the end of it.

This person is also highly suspicious

My nephew showed me the trailer on the computer I’m using right now, just like he showed me this internet website.

Well I’m sorry if I’m not exactly on top of technology and youth culture and whatnot. I don’t have much exposure to the media. My TV has only one channel.

TSFan: It’s coming out on VHS, Betamax, DVD, Bluray, Laserdisc, 35mm, and UMD formats.

Curious, what kind of computer do you own?

Ah that’s great. I searched up BetaMax. I can flubbergasted at how much technology has advanced from say… the 1950’s to the 1970’s as proven by this ‘BetaMax’.

Did your nephew tell you what ‘www’ stood for on the internet?

Chuckle Nick, I live in the Wyoming farmland, there aren’t many billboards around here. As I’ve said before, my TV only has the Off Track Betting channel, which has no commercial breaks. I saw the trailer months ago, and I forgot the release date.

I don’t own a computer, right now I’m using my nephew’s “laptopper” or whatever it’s called.

No he didn’t, would you be so kind as to tell me?

www means World Wide Web

Thank you, K9Grill!

I knew it was something like wide world net, or something.

Well thats a question with many answers, TSFan, it could stand for many things;

What? Where? When?
Why? Who? and then What? again
Who? Why? When

You get the idea, but it could also stand for:

World Wide Web
Who Writes Websites
Wandering What Went
Who Watches Wasps
Water Was Wet

And more. Quite a complex question if you ask me.

Do you like any other Pixar movies besides Toy Story?

Out of curiosity.

Oh, you’re such a jokester, Zac!

K9Grill already told me it stands for world wide web.

3xxjessiex3, I like Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Toy Story 2, Monster’s Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, and Up.

I made the mistake of thinking that Shrek and Pulp Fiction were Pixar movies, but Zac corrected me.

Whats a BetaMax?

Well I am glad you enjoy my humour :stuck_out_tongue: Most people find it unfunny and annoying… I generally amuse myself more than others, which is ironic due to what I am actually trying to do in the first place, amuse other people.

I love everyone on this internet website forum site. You’re all such wonderful, unique people!

Can anyone tell me why movies aren’t being released on BetaMax and VHS anymore?
