Help in writing

I’m stuck in one of my stories. Is there someone who

can give me pointers? I’d be grateful.

I

usually listen to music. That helps get my ideas and inspriation back. In addition, I watch The Incredibles DVD.

These are only suggestions.

listen to music when I’m writing. I’m still stuck though…I think this will take the longest time to

write…Great.

I either watch something

new or read something by an author I admire. Usually, if a line strikes you, it gets you thinking, or you start

thinking about the author’s style, how’s they’ve pulled it all together. It usually motivates me to write and

gives me a second-wind whenever I have a bit of writer’s block.

Sadly enough, if I get stuck in my writing, I do some

sewing. Heh. The worst thing to do is to force yourself into continuing, because it isn’t fun writing when you

don’t know where you’re heading.

I like sewing. :smiley: But if not that, then just do something relaxing and that you enjoy.

Just find

the idea or inspiration that keeps you going. Reread your progess of your current chapter, visualize that you are

that character, or even act it out. Sometimes putting yourself in the story can help you dictate what to write

next.
